The community is so much better when everyone is involved and helping each other out. Our strength is our willingness to help each other! Also please feel free to like or dislike the video. Your feedback is always appreciated so that hopefully I can make my future videos the best possible! Thanks and happy studies!
My professor actually does an excellent job of explaining the material and I have no complaints about him, I just love these videos for how convenient they are for studying. The organization is very easy to follow and the calm atmosphere is so relaxing and helpful.
I'm currently in the USAF, and planning to start taking college classes. I remember watching you three years ago when I had my calculus assignment in high school. I thought I'd never see your videos ever again, but here I am now, trying to learn once again from the person who taught me on how to survive math in high school. I appreciate you :)
Hey Pat, just want to say I am 26 now and revisiting these videos for fun. I used to watch them all the time during my high school and college days and they were such massive help. Thank you
I always watch your videos whenever I miss class or I simply did not understand my professor. I highly recommend you to all my classmates. You make it so much easier. Thanks a lot (:
i wish my math teachers taught us the way you did for trig identities instead of just throwing tan^2x + 1 = sec^2x but once you showed me what was actually going on it made more sense and easier to remember lol
I am watching your tutorials since i was Junior High School and now i'm a 1st year engineering student i am still here lol you deserve a millions of subscribers Pat! Thank you!
This is better than Khan academy. One problem is, it's better for the bits I'm up to speed with for test and revision. At 5:51 where it talk of trig identities, and subs in the 1 tan squared theta, I don't follow how that happened. A little more explanation would be nice!
I love your channel because you give so many examples. Sometimes other channels explain the concepts a little better but your channel is where I go to learn how to do the real gruntwork, and to learn how to actually do the problems on my homework. Ty for this great channel, you have helped me so much.
Wish I found your videos sooner! Can't thank you enough for how much these videos are helping me for my next test... for which I have 2 days to learn a whole unit on integration. I've had so many epiphanies while watching your vids, thinking "so that's wth the prof was talking about..." You've taught me more in a few hours than my prof has after weeks. Thanks again, you're a lifesaver!!!
Your videos helped a lot with maths last year. On monday, i start Integrals and so excited but have a feeling i will be watching your videos when i should be sleeping :D Greetings from Finland!
Doing a review from calc 1 for my first assignment in calc 2. Learned integration during quarentine, and although I had a good teacher everything was crazy during that, so this helps soooooo much!
you have taught me calculus, i have taken 2 calc exams, and have barely gone to lecture. I got a 92 and a 95 on the exams because of what you have taught me. Thank you patrickJMT!
Your videos are great! I got an A in my 4 week summer calculus class by watching your videos, they are so helpful and really clarify the material that my professor can't. Thanks so much!
never seen any good way to explain calc you are really good and your way of explaining stuff is very good so easy to get through the mind keep the work up best math channel
thank you for making these videos!, my calculus teacher is a mean mean old man and he just makes everything 100X more complicated and doesnt show us step by step. your videos really reallly help & i figured out how to execute newtons method in 10 minutes yay! lol. as well as integrals. he gives us the weirdest hardest problems, sad part is, hes writting the final as well as the in class exams.
i dont get how u factored a sin of theta... i know thats not really calc but im confused. u factored a sin of theta and the other sin of theta.. help please
It's the fundamental theorem of calculus. Antiderivatives are connected with definite integrals. That is why when we evaluate indefinite or definite integrals, we dispense the terminology of using "antiderivative".
As opposed to being a traditional school teacher, it looks like he is making a sizeable income through his youtube partnership and online tutoring business. It looks though at this point, he's teaching simply because he wants to, which is a reason why his teaching is so great and easy to learn from, also not being bound by the school books. I'm quite envious really. Keep doing your thing professor!
I've been watching a few of your videos, and they're fantastic. You explain in a clear and concise way, and keep your videos at an appropriate length (where I'm not bored, but at the same time I'm still learning quite a bit). I'll definitely use these videos for Calc II.
@josuanette congrats on the A. patrickjmt is always just hanging around youtube, waiting for someone to pay attention to him (ie, listen to his boring math talks!!). good luck in the class

I'm currently on my second year in Civil Engineering and oddly, I'm dealing with both Differential and Integral Calculus on both semesters and ever since I found out about your video of derivatives months ago, you've helped a lot in letting us - not just me but a handful of my friends as well who took up the same math classes as I did and recommended links to your videos - understand the foundations of calculus. After having my first lesson in anti-derivatives this morning, I immediately went on UA-cam to check your videos out about integration to further delve into the subject. I'm learning a lot thanks to you!
I see this video has almost 1.3 million views. Which means that Integration is really much of a problem and I wasn't crazy after all.. Thank you Patrick..!!💪💪
Patrick: I just would like to let you know that without your videos, I would have dropped my calculus class. "seriously" million thanks. You Rock Sir!!!
Really good your videos, I think they were basic examples with great explanation to solve different type of problems. Thanks a lot none of my friends knew Integrals. Hope it helps me when I finish school.
I passed my Differential Calculus last semester :) thanks to your videos sir Patrick. I am now at Integral Calculus . All of your videos are extremely helpful specially in an Engineering student like me :)
Thanks man. I missed my lecture bc I was studying for another exam (story of my life) and this quick video pretty much caught me up. Great vid! and nice advice tagged on at the end
once again, i love you :) there was a point in the video where i thought you had done something wrong, but it turns out it was me being stupid. i will never doubt you again

Wat do we do if we have an Expression Including e^x
Could you do a differentiation video too please?!!

You could imagine a person has to be really good at explaining math homework like patrickJMT to be one of my top 10 favorite youtubers
My class average was a failing grade and I got a high C because of you. So glad I didn't have to drop!

I bet these videos get spikes in traffic every December and May because of college kids cramming for finals lol
+Nick Harris you would win that bet
+Nick Harris Absolutely!
+Nick Harris And , you're absolutely right . Actually , my exam is in 5 and a half hours . The final that is .
