HELLO!! 4:08 i have the problem with the casette that was stuck!now its out but dont want to go back inside seems like something its blocking the tape to enter!! how can i repair this problem?
I recently had my car in to replace the starter. Now radio/NAV doesnt work. I checked fuses and replaced one so now NAV works, but no audio. On the NAV screen, there is no "DSP" listed, like the system doesn't see the radio. Nothing else has changed. Any ideas what this could be and how I can fixed. Thanks in advance for your help. Your videos are very helpful.
It is possible to retrofit the latest NBT navigation system into the car and maintain most functionalities. There is an adapter available that allows the old IBUS system of the E38 to communicate with the new NBT system. Keep in mind though, the whole retrofit is something like $2,000 US all said and done, but it'll be like having the navigation system of a brand-new BMW.
You have inspired me to go digital by upgrading my E38 stereo.
The screen burned out years ago anyway.
what wiring harness did u use for ur bmw e38
Thanks. Simple and to the point, with no jibber-jabber. Good stuff.
exactly!
Thanks! Good video! Great content!
Thanks 4 thus explain but i want to ask you! Ho can i connect the cables ?
Is it possible to change the display itself?
Yes you can install larger screen which were found on newer 740 and 5-series models. Hope that helps
Is this the same process for the e39 with the same screen?

Hey, it's a very helpful video, what I wanted to ask is how do I get a normal Radio connected?
what do you mean normal radio?
@@bimmermerchant
What I mean is a radio with a ISO connector. As far as I know I could use an adapter, which is in the trunk...
