  • I have a second tow vehicle, so it needed its own RV to haul around!
My primary RV is a Arctic Fox 992 truck camper, which is the second truck camper I've owned since 2009. It works very well for the times when I take my motorcycle(s) camping with me and set up a base camp and do dual sport and trail riding. It does NOT work well for camping and touring national parks and doing sight seeing. It's just too big and ungainly for those type of activities, which I have really missed doing after switching from a towable RV to a truck camper in late 2009.
After doing a lot of research by reading forums, watching UA-cam videos, etc., I finally decided a Geo Pro would fit my needs. Things that stood out for me compared to other compact brands are listed below:
    1. Aluminum framing throughout - even the roof and support structures on the interior are framed with aluminum.
    2. Factory installed power inverter
    3. Torsion Axle, which is a trailer axle with independent suspension
    4. 7' body width. Anything wider would be wider than I'd want to tow with a mid-sized truck
    5. Dual propane tanks
    7. Lower overall height compare to some other small towable RVs.
    8. Factory installed solar
    9. Roof mounted A/C instead of a residential style window A/C unit mounted through a hole in the side wall.
I wasn't in a hurry to purchase, so I checked dealer inventory often and kept an eye on the used market, while still trying to decide between a 19FBS and a 16BH.
Twice in early 2022 I almost bought a 19FBS, but canceled those plans.
6 months later I was ready to buy once again and stumbled across the 16BH at a really good price and bought it.

We just bought the 15TB, way below MSRP and no added fees, market adjustments, etc. Hope to bring it home Monday. Thx for the video 🤙🏽

I like the 15TB for the fact it doesn't have a slideout.

This is a Re-Upload of the same video from a few days ago. The other version of this upload had very bad video quality.

Love that floorplan. How difficult do you think it would be to remove the upper bunk so there's more headroom for the lower?

I'm not sure how difficult it would be. I can't go look because I sold this RV about a year ago.

Does your AC run continuously or the fan stay on once temp is reached? With no AC thermostat the unit will stay on all the time. Not sure if the fan stays on even when compressor is off. It’s very loud when watching tv is why I ask. If I get an AC thermostat not sure it would fix the noise of fan to solve fan noise is all. Thanks for video!

Fan stays on. This A/C has the controls on the A/C unit, which doesn't have a setting to turn off the fan when the compressor kicks off. The only A/C units that can do that are the ones controlled by a wall mounted thermostat.

Do the batteries in these charge when plugged to shore power, to your vehicle, or only from solar?

      @deltabravo1257  Рік тому +1

They will charge from shore power and your tow vehicle.

@@deltabravo1257 I thought so. The guy at the dealer said just the solar.

May I ask roughly how much you paid for yours?
