Thank you Luis I appreciate that! I guess different reviewers will have different styles and motivations and so appeal to different viewers. I love these models as art, but also want to communicate little observations and tidbits of science because I feel that we can appreciate our models even more that way. Such an underappreciated beauty of a dinosaur, I'd expected them by now to have found much more than just 3 cryptic skulls for such an iconic dinosaur. I'd expected moreover for there to be more memorable represebtations of Parasaurolophus out there besides this one PNSO as I've looked for some and it seems this is the only truly impressive one out there. I'm really hoping for a Haolonggood some time in the future since they seem to have a specialty for Hadrosaurs

As for HLG, I have no doubt that we can expect many many more great things from this company! I do hope they can give us a large Parasaurolophus though. Their Edmontosaurus was puzzlingly small!

Well Mark I think they're just carried away with excitement by the product image release of the next upcoming PNSO - Carcharodontosaurus! Have you seen those pictures? And naturally some people are recalling some of those teases PNSO dropped on us last year suggesting a Torvosaurus was in the mix.
I love this guy! Despite the neck thing I have him on my wish list. I love the crest and eye colours and I love that they decided to do an injured animal over a perfect specimen. Makes it feel more real like the animal actually had a life.
What neck thing do you not like about it? Being based on an actual specimen with a backstory certainly makes for a more interesting animal than a cookie cutter perfect specimen. I only hope people actually read the booklet to realise this was a pathological artefact, not how they all looked!

@@DinosDragons ; The Parasaurolophus looks marvelous so long as its lying on it’s side . If a company cannot make a quadruped stand without falling over then it is time to reassess their manufacturing process . I made the mistake of trying to brace it between two heavy figures and one day it managed to fall and is unfortunately broken . My hope is for PNSO to one day release a Brachylophosaurus since it is one of the most complete dinosaurs ever discovered .

Thank you! 😁
It's an ok/meh model for me, sad that it got probably completed before the new paper, I would also chose a different coloration
Well then that means you get to save some money! 😁
@@DinosDragons exactly, that's the only good thing 😂
하하 나도 주문했지 마음에 드는녀석이다
It's amazing and the detail is incredible! Better to see in person!
Are you a paleontologist?
Unfortunately no! I was thinking of doing a course this or next year, but well, the pandemic...
