The coupe looks so much better imo with its sloping roofline. Not to mention that the engine compartment stays illuminated for a short period time which looks incredible especially at night.

That engine reminds me of the V10 screamers that were in F1 cars. The only only other car with that wail is the banshee in the LFA. I grew up with Naturally aspirated BIG V8s, so a naturally aspirated engine just sounds and hits differently.
The R8 looks ordinary yet seductive. Many super cars are just track demons with hard suspension. Otherwise those track demons are not good on regular roads.
The R8 can do a track day but it's able to go for a daily drive or a day trip. The pinnacle of "let's see what we can do with no money as no object yet make it livable."

I was really excited when I saw this notification and if I’m correct the C6 Audi’s have v10 in them for the s6 and rs6... looking forward to a POV drive of those hopefully!

The only reason I never bought the R8 (I really wanted to!) is the minuscule frunk. It has to be a daily I can take on a 3 day road trip and the R8 does not cut it. 911s, Vantages or even Ferraris are significantly more practical.
The plus modell with performance mode feels louder. Furthermore u need dynamic for more pops no matter what setting you use in individual dynamic is louder
Audi by far has the best interiors. Really enjoy the vids BTW!
honestly shift paddles, indicators and all other stuff you have near the steering wheel that you use regularly should be made out of metal instead of plastic, like Bentley does, I donno why only the ultra luxury cars do this but any car above 80,000 should have it

The best thing about these is that if you wanna enjoy the V10 soundtrack without anyone else knowing what you have, you just get yourself an older S6/S8 with a very similar engine for ~$20k.

Definitely one of my dream cars and one of the cars that sparked my love for them. I remember sometime back in 2010s when I saw the 1st gen in that brown paint at Krka National Park pulling up to the parking lot. The wow effect was there. Fast forward a couple years later and the 2nd gen comes out - a true beauty and a dream car right away. Years have gone by and my love for it is still the same as it was back in the day. One thing that R8 does better than Huracan, or maybe even better than any other car is this steering wheel and center console. On this one the wheel is exceptionally good due to being two tone. I've never seen one like this in an R8 before and I'm in love. I also love that the only screen in there is the one on the dash and the center console is nearly nonexistent. In no world if I were to get one, I would think to myself "It's a good car, but I wish I could afford a Huracan instead". I don't think R8 lacks anything, even if you ignore the price difference. It is an amazing car as much as a Huracan is.
For the past month I've been in my black on black on black era, but I know it's temporary. With that said - this is a gorgeous spec. This shade of blue is already my favourite choice for an R8 when I'm not in my head with the batman specs and I think this two tone interior matches it perfectly. Blue stitching to match the paint job is a cherry on top. I wish it was present on the seatbelt too. All that topped of with what is imo the best rim choice available for an R8, and in the best colour possible too!
If I had ~$150-180k to spend on a car that would match all my needs (so that probably would have to be a 2nd car choice sadly), an R8 would be a no-brainer and this one in particular would definitely be one of my first R8s, if not the first overall, that I would take a look at. Couldn't care less about RWS if I could drive something that looks and sounds that good.

Ease to live with is very important to me. I’d MUCH rather drive my car than work on it… (I used to like to work on my cars, when I was doing it for the first time, and when I had to; I don’t have to anymore)!
Tree felling next to the road while you’re driving a convertible will definitely wake you up!

I love audi for their suddenness my first audi was a 05 a4 3.0 and 8 mouths now I have bought a r8 i was going with the 10 cylinder but can't find any in an manual.
To be a 2018 model it’s very clean
I get the same cheap pedal shifter on my car lol, but I replaced them with carbon fiber, and I think it's a must!
The R8 is the only supercar that fits 2 30oz Yeti tumblers in the cup holders. I could easily drive mine everyday.

Have you driven a convertible? If not, don’t knock it till you try it. first convertible I drove I was instantly hooked and now I drive a Miata.
If you have driven a convertible well then fair enough, it’s not for you, but for me it’s more like “I really don’t care to see the engine through a glass panel when I can put the roof down anytime I want.”

People don't realize that Lambo suspension is really stiff which takes away from the enjoyment of driving it on less than perfect roads.

10:50 As this is the “regular” version It only has these basic paddle shifters and pedals. The performance model features the sportier ones found in the rs models.
Still kinda dumb as it’s not a regular Audi in any way.
