It’s a good thing I don’t live in the Settled Systems for real, because I’d need to have the Vytinium mining outpost my PC has to be able to collect these intricate, amazing ships! I’m having a hard time deciding what to build first!
Rebuild story. So I ran across this Mantis reimagining that I thought looked more menacingly mantis-like. I completely deconstructed this Frigate. I liked it for a while, but it was a bit busy, lots of extraneous parts that became cluttered to me. I just rebuilt this Frigate from that rebuild, and it came out great! I did opt for the SAL 6830's, 4 of them, which got me 95 mobility. About to make the Serpentis test run, but I'm loving this ship again!
I am really glad I ran across your channel, your ships are amazing! I turned my razorleaf into a small bounty hunter type ship, but I never use it. I like having a crew, and big ships. So this inspires me to change it up. I do have an end game ship that I love, but this would be amazing for an affordable mid range ship to get me to the end game ship. Thank you for sharing your designs!
This build kept me for ages! It was an epic moment taking it into battle during the final Crimson Fleet mission. Although I do think I eventually retired it because I started to use my Stroud-Eklund Decatur Frigate build for combat instead. Enjoy it though, the scripted Spacers events in that thing are priceless. Glad you like my ship builds!
Tried this build yesterday following your guide. Epic fail, no doors in the landing bay and no doors to leave the cockpit, hahaha!! I'll try again, lol.
That sounds like a bug with one of your other mods tbh. I don't personally run many mods myself, but many people have been coming to me with those same problems.
Yes because of how the story works, you don't actually "pick" a definitive side until the very end. Play through the quest until the Comspike and Conduction Grid become available to you, but put them on all your builds you want them on before completing the Faction Missions IF you side with SysDef- they'll no longer be available in the vanilla game after unless you side with the Fleet.
haha yeah cool man, its my take on the Chimera, but very proud of it, and serves as a cmdr flagship :) wanted to share it, but i dont have the tech skills haha@@CMDREagle131
I really, really, want to create this ship. When you say 'save' your parts, how would I do this on an Xbox? I'm unsure how you can get parts from different vendors efficiently. I'm currently level 71, and have an outpost. Thanks!
I am on PC but I am not running ship building mods. I personally just go to each vendor and put the parts on the ship im planning on turning into whatever build im about to work on. Its really the only way that you can bring all that stuff back to an outpost builder.
@@CMDREagle131 Thanks; from my outpost I can get just about everything; funny that I already put one of those gorgeous bridges on my Razorleaf! I am a mobility freak so maybe only one of those cargo holds.
@@pdexBigTeacher To be fair, most starfield shipwrights are mobility freaks except me lol- if im in a big heavy ship, I love to feel like I'm in one. I come from a space simulator background. Usually in those types of games, theres no such thing as a large maneuverable vessel 🤣🤣 I am actually pretty sure that other than the Decatur class frigate, I think this might just be the only large ship I've built with this much mobility! Anyway, enjoy the building! Let me know how it goes.
MAAAAAN! WHAT A SHIP!!! Yeah, I spent some coin, but was worth every frackin credit! Think I even got all the ladders right😂 The worst part, though, will be finding folks to have as my companions; they could hide anywhere. Gumdrop's gonna love this ship! 😂

Another great one Eagle.
Thank you! And your guitar solo...hand in hand with the Mantis 😀
Great back story and build! Keep it going
Thank you BentFrame!!
Gives the Mantis enough teeth to be relevant through the end game :)
Great build! I always use this bridge for my large ships. Its the best in the game!
It's my favorite one!
I love this! Thanks for your content. 👍
Love the ship builds this is the second one I built along side you much appreciated.......keep it up
Thank you!
Cool build

Lovely ship though.

BROTHERS AND SISTERS ON THE XBOX:
YOU CAN CONNECT PIECES LIKE HABS BY HOLDING DOWN THE RIGHT AND LEFT TRIGGERS AND PRESSING "A"!!!
Can you get the comspike and the conduction grid if you side with sysdef?

breh, could i give u a build and have you do the cinematics? this was great! haha
Haha thanks! And sure, depending on what you need, I can definitely do some filming work for ya if you want.

Awesome build! How many credits did it take?
The estimate in game is about 389k, not sure how accurate that is or not!
