At the rate its going, VDH will still be a very strong tank, but prot pally will probably balance out with it more. Monk and DK will be popular in lower content up to 10s. Prot Warrior and Bear are meh.
Didn't test tww yet, but keys untill 12, 13 can be done with any tank without difficult. Actually i do key's 14 with my Bear, and elune's choosen looks great for M+ in tww. Paladins sounds good for next season too, but i think that DK will be the new meta if nothing change.
@@dgcavalheri DK has not changed insofar as their position relative to other tanks. They are absolute monsters in any content where the damage being done to them is healable through DS, and crumple the moment you go above that. The new tank melee affixes are going to punish them hard. DKs will be amazing if you are never striving for a high M+ level and only shooting for low-mid range keys. Same as they have been for a long time. The only time they exceeded that is when they could basically make DRW be up "all the time", negating their biggest weakness. They look great for TWW, but their issues have not changed and a few extra talent points (that while good and look fun), is not changing that.
I agree double sigils needed to go, should never have happened in the first place. VDH may need more tuning in wake of this. They should revert the cd of Silence back to 60s now that it is no longer doubled. Cycle of Binding could go back to 3s cd reduction. And we may need dps tuning with loss of 2nd Elysian Decree charge. Hopefully Blizz is thinking about such things.

I completly disagree. Id rather have other tanks have better control and utility than kill everything i liked about vengeance. Now it feel as boring as ever, packs wont be as satosfying to pull together anymore and i'll probably be forced to play Blood. I ado agree for a nerf, but they went way too far. They should have removed the fear and maybe reduce silence dueation but they simply deleted double sigil talent.
@@guillaumelabonte2702 hm, i dont think i agree, i get that it feels about half as powerfull controlwise, but i promise u that if they reduce the amount of casts, it wont matter much. it only feels this god because unless coordination of perfect it is impossible to do certain pulls without a vdh. if u had pulls with fewer deadly casts, it would feel more or less the same, i think the gameplay of timing stops to stop as many casts as possible is silly af. i like the self sustain aspect of the spec more, throttling it so u can heal yourself through damage, none of that has anything to do with double sigils. and you will never get a toolkit as good as double sigils for aoe mob cc, without pushing the game in a very bad direction. i bet u a lot of imaginary stacks of dollars that 3 months into the expansion u will relize u were kind of wrong and dh will still be better than blood, even with 1 sigil.
Great content! As a BDK main i somewhat worry for being "meta" tank again. Always tried to play the non meta tanks and being told "you just play it cuz meta" is gonna suck again. Blizz please nerf bdk a bit so we are not head and shoulders anove all other tanks haha.
It's funny, because BDK traditionally is off-meta in M+, but is the most meta tank of all time in raid, and has been for all of Dragonflight, and by all appearances, they will be in TWW. And now they'll be great in M+, too!
They need to make other tanks more powerful and not nerf the only tank that was fun to play. You already sit in queue for hours waiting for tanks and healers. Making them less fun to play is not going to help this. Power = fun. It is not fun to try and pull with a different tank and get smoked, or have a bunch of casters free cast and kill the group and mobs spread all over the place. It is fun to pull big and be sturdy, control the mobs, control the casts and spearhead the group.

From what I've heard it's incredibly harder to buff all others up then to nerf one. Only because the buffing causes too many more variables and OP issues. Balance gets impossible. But nerfs always suck for sure.
