👍 for Beach Villa, last time we stayed 2 Nights in a over Water Villa @HolidayInnKandooma and as you mentioned at night it gets quite noisy over the water. Now @BarceloWhaleLagoon we stay at a Beach Villa with sunrise and it was the best choice for us. And it is the most affordable too 😉
Great comparison guys! Both options have their own benefits, it would be hard to pick one. Is the ocean outside the over water villas deep? Perhaps that might be a decision factor for me and my wife. Thanks!
Thank you! The ocean water outside your villa can be both, at LUX* it was only waist deep and so it was at Centara but it varies based on tide as well, but for the most part 5-10feet we would say would be the norm.
Oh, good tip about the water splashing under the overwater villa! I've never heard anyone else talk about that. My question: are there more mosquitoes/bugs in the Beach villa than the overwater villa?
The cost of the overwater is very high in comparison to the beach villa. So we are cutting costs by doing only a few days in the over water and rest of the time on sand
Helo hope you notice my question... I just want to ask is the speedboat payment is already included on the payment on the villa's that we will book. Or we have to pay extra the speedboat going to our villa thank you so much and god bless
Hi Irina & Devon, We love your videos!! We’re planning a Maldives holiday and we’re wondering if the pools in the over-water are salt water or fresh water? Regards Todd & Nicole (Sydney Australia)
@@Livingtheglobe Brilliant!! We couldn’t see the point in having a pool with the ocean right there as well. I hate salt water so a fresh water pool makes a lot of sense to me. On another note, did you do a video on the Hawaii Movie Ranch / Jurassic Park filming location place? We haven’t found anything on your channel yet, but Hawaii is another destination we’re looking at. It seems we only want to go to places on the strength of your recommendations!! Cheers Todd & Nicole.
I think more people are attracted to the over water bungalow because it’s different you can go most anywhere and find a beach. But how many places can you find an overwater bungalow. 🧐
Hey hey hey my fave travel couple.. I never get tired of these vids. Still catching up....Thanks!
You're the best!♥️
You two always offer such great information. Thank you!
Thanks for watching! ❤️🌺

How much does beach villa costs per night?
@Orakzai_Afghan depends on a lot. Time of year, package you choose, & resort + beach villa w/pool w/o pool lots of variables
@@Livingtheglobe Tnx ❤
what island was the beach villa you were showing at @7:25? what island was this? Love these videos btw, extremely informative.

Yes, but in our experience there's very little. We did get bit once or twice.
Very informative! Thanks
You are welcome 🥰

Good choice!

Depending on the resort. Most of the time it is NOT included

Yes they are fresh!

It's really quite simple: sea, or sand and sea? Sand and sea obviously better.
