Thank you for this video. I would love to visit dhigurah but I have one question: We are planning for a 2 days visit to dhigurah and then to Maafushi. Is there a a speed boat that goes to maafushi or we should go back to Male? Thank you in advance.
There isn't a speedboat between Dhigurah and Maafushi. You must first go to Male airport and then to Maafushi. However if you do it reverse you could take a whale shark tour from Maafushi where they will drop you in Dhigurah. That could save you some transportation cost.
You are allowed to wear a bikini on the tip of the island. Mostly on Dhigurah, you cannot wear bikinis in town and in the jungle (center of the island).
Yes, at the moment, from Velana International Airport to Dhigurah, there are speedboats at 11:00 or 16:30 from Saturday to Thursday. On Fridays at 10:00 and 16:30. One way one person 60usd.
We organised everything through our accommodation as it was the same price. So when we arrived we just went where they told us to and we the people from the speedboat was there.
You can take the speedboat. From Velana International Airport to Dhigurah at 11:00 or 16:30 on Saturday to Thursday. On Fridays at 10:00 and 16:30. From Dhigurah to Male’ City or Velana International Airport at 06:30 and 13:30 on Saturday to Thursday. On Fridays at 6:30 and 13:45.
Saturday, Monday and Wednesday local price ferry route 305 Male 08:30 Mahibadhoo 12:40 switch to another local ferry route 304 (not Fridays) Mahibadhoo 13:30 Dhigurah 15:05. Back to Male boat route 304 Dhigurah 08:05 Mahibadhoo 09:40 switch to boat route 305 Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays Mahibadhoo 11:00 Male 15:20
If you stay at Seaside Dhigurah, the best is to use one of their free bicycle. You can ride to most of the place on the island. To get to the sea bank, go all the way until the road end, let your bike and then walk a few minutes to reach the tip of the island.
Alcohol is prohibited on all public islands in the Maldives. However, 0% alcohol beer is served in some restaurants and can be purchased in supermarkets.
It really depends on everything you are looking for. Even if the reef wasn't the nicest (not sure it is better elsewhere), we loved the island because it was not crowded, had km of bikini beaches and was OK regarding budget.
Perfect video. On next year we go to Male to Seaside hotel. Thanks for video.
You are welcome, glad you like it 😍

@ super merci. Oui l’idée c’est de passer pas mal de temps sous l’eau, nous sommes instructeurs de plongée.
Sandbank during high tide is actually the best in my opinion, that's the point to ,,walk on the water".
But it is harder to see it and really know where to ho 😊
Very nice video bro I'm Indian🇮🇳
Thanks :)

How much did the Whale shark/Manta Safari cost? Did you enjoy the local food on the island?
Hey, it cost 150 USD per person from Dhigurah. Yes we did enjoy the food on the island. All the food we tried was really good.
I’m in Dhangethi

Helpful video. When you want to go snorkeling, do you have to bring your own snorkel gear or is it given to you for free
Thank you. In the accommodation we were, it was given for free 🤗

We are staying 4 nights, is this too many days?
Not at all. We stayed 3 nights and we would have loved to stay one more. So, 4 sounds great! 😍
