Just came across your channel. I've been wanting to do more in woodworking for 2 years now since I finished my first build. In the process of designing and building my own Workbench at the moment and I plan on using the Dashboard system over the others I've seen. Thanks for this video and more. It's always easier to improve someone else's designs, the hard part is innovation. I see in photography ( my side job) and in hifi (my hobby). This companies make so many products they just aren't willing to spend the money to improve a product that is already selling well.

My “MFT” is 96x40 using 1545 extrusion and all of Robs gear. It’s amazing.

Never been a fanboy. I have owned all sorts of products and many of them had shortcomings or faults. I own a few Festool tools. Festool's parallel guides was very poorly designed. The LR32 system kit is way over priced for stamped metal and a bit disappointing. I would like to get the dashbaord rail guide, but with the exchange rate, I can't justify the cost for me. Woodworking is just a hobby. TSO has a great parallel guide system.

The components being discussed are part of a a larger product produced by Festool known as an MFT. Its most popular use is as a crosss cut station but can be used as a portable workbench, assembly table and other functions related to woodworking. Thanks for watching!
