I am in his generation and I’ve been noticing this also. You find a song that is a universal and it doesn’t matter who sings it and it doesn’t matter who listens. There’s just something about music that resets the soul
I love this song so much. I like to sing it to my s/o when he's feeling down and just hold him. He's been through a lot and i like to use it to remind him that he's loved. I think this is my favorite version so far. Many other covers or versions just feel so hollow in their performance. This though. This has feeling behind it. I hear you.

This is by far the most heart felt and authentic sounding edition of this song I've ever heard. You sound like you understand the lyrics better than the original singer did.
This is truly incredible. Much like Johnny Cash was able to change the overall feel/tone of Hurt when he recorded his version, I feel you’ve taken this song and totally turned it on it’s head. While the original feels like a promise and a testament to the power of love, this feels like a farewell - a parting word to and old friend or lover, perhaps. And yet in a way, it’s still about love, I think. Two people who have been through everything together, seen it all, and now have arrived at the end. And yet it’s not entirely sad - there’s an acceptance to it, a sort of understanding, that this is a part of their time together as much as any other. Beautifully performed, thank you so much for sharing your talent with us!
