I really like how tidy and compact this rig is. Checking pricing as the other rig I was looking at is quite tall and I want something lower to the ground.
Yep i really like this piece of kit... you can go cheaper and buy the actuators online without the rig ... but then you will have to build the rig yourself and get a decent chair too.. altogether ik think you would only save about 350 euro but will have plenty of work. (and if you dont know how to weld well....bummer) so yep i would give this a buy thumbs up !

How did you free the actuator for the TL mine wont budge manual says loosen nut which seems to be no advise at all !
hmm i didn't do anything to the actuator...just connect it ti the unit (controller) and it should move ...

@@mikerichardsonuk glad you found the glitch.....things like that are difficult to find :-)
i also had the same issue. i wasnt able to extend it so we could install it in the proper orientation. i wonder if there is a trick to manually free up the actuator during the install (without plugging it into anything) just so we can properly install the rig being perfectly straight.

@@traylord well it all depends you need monitor space too.. Etc.. So I think 145x150 would be the minimum.

Where did you find the instruction manual online?
They send you the manual link. They use Dropbox. I was thinking of putting the manual online but there is a legal disclosure that doesn't allow me to do so. 😕

hi , i could but unfortunately Prosimu doenst allow owners to do that. The files are shared threw Dropbox . Sorry ;-(

Well in all honesty I think the inverted pedals are a amazing piece of kit. But there à little high for me.. So the normal once would be better.

Hello, do you know if the nuts that you attached double sided tape to, can be slightly magnetized to stay in place? Depends on the metal I know.

Hi, been thinking about getting this motion rig. Great video, which gave me a detailed understanding of the build quality. Very interested in seeing what you think of how well it runs. I'm a bit unsure about the x-sim software you have to use to control it. Thanks.
Hi Mike , well the quality is top very very sturdy but it needs to be when your racing down the nordschleife LOL and the software hmmm well we will have to see about that .. i'm not a fan of tons of software running in the background when i'm racing.. i want to sit down and press the assetto corsa icon and race not sit down and spend 30 min starting up all the gear and then have your pc go bonkers on me and start all over again....it needs to be P&P hmmm there's lots of stuff that can go wrong here with the vive software etc...ah well..

will do....hopefully in my next days off i can start on the cable work of this thing...and install the software.. need active USB 3.0 cables because my pc is too far away in the other room... and my Fanatec gear doesnt seem to work well with my USB 3.0 hub.. lots of stuff can go wrong here LOL... we have all been there....
well after having done a few races i can truly say that the extra DOF is worth more then half the rig.... drove a few rounds with the 3th DOF off and the the 3th on ...holy shit (pardon my french ) it gives it the ULTIMATE dimension... so yep go get that upgrade.
What kind of effect 3 dof can do?

Experience building the 2dof and yes a bit hard to built especially the bits that goes inside the frame, well the images shown some bubble wrap but still pain, what i did is i just use L bracket to lift the bits lol, its amazing rig imo, looking forward to get the 3dof add on
that video was a pain :P ... but only because it remembers me to my build 3 month ago. Some good ideas and best seen so far about building that rig!
