+Buckeye in a yak Thanks! Been working on a few more mods/improvements. Adding a power meter, gear track, 2nd battery, re-wiring and waterproofing. I use it in camp just as much as i do in the yak. It spent the night in a rainstorm not too long ago and came out alright.
Really nice build! Im making my second batterybox this weekend. The goal is to make it a smaller, lighter box and using GEL battieries instead of AGM. I will document it all and put it on my UA-cam-channel if you are intrested? Thanks for the video!
you can always go to the dollar General and pick up some led solar lights to have a charge going into the batteries at all time so they do not ever go low or hobby lobby
I'm working on something similar for my yak, but I'm not electrically inclined by any means. So I understand, and have watched multiple UA-cam videos, that you can only use a 12v outlet with that 12v lead acid, correct? What if I want to put on an ac socket for my power box? Would I just need to install the cigarette lighter the buy an adapter for the ac outlet?
I have had all those blue lipo bricks, ask me what you will and i should be able to answer it. I have a 75000MHA lipo battery box with inverter that same size, check out my video :)
Great box, and love the idea of taking it to the camp.

Hey I've watched your video multiple times. I have some questions about your wire setup.

+robert boardman Yeah! Well i use it for a sit on top. It fits perfectly in a milk crate.
You can avoid using a fuse,, if you buy a anker cigerete charger, it aleeady have a built in fuse.
