I love it when an engine seems to start on the first spin of the starter! That's magic! I had a Lancia with a dual carb, and I never got it to start and run as nicely as yours. One of my best friends had a Jeep that could start an run as well as your Triumph. and I always him his skills. You've mastered the art of carb tuning as far as I'm concerned. Well done!
I have a 1500 midget with a 32/36 dgev and need to do this for myself. It's running rich. Occasionally pings at speed, but not when you step on the gas.
any chance you can do a video showing more of the carb set up as far as running hoses, vac lines, fuel etc... changing the intake and carb from SU with all the emissons crap and trying to delete all that. just havent quite figured out what goes where.. any help is appreciated!

Could be your timing as well. Both just as important as a good carb tuning :)
