Great vid 🙌🏼 just a have question I have a full exhaust cattless and tune sometimes run e85 not all the time it’s usually hot where I live don’t get that cold do you recommend 0W20 or 5W30 or 0w30 ?
This was a manual transmission. The process is similar for a auto but a little different. Here's a guide for a auto trans: www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=129898
2nd and 4th gear for me used to be fairly notchy before the change. Now, once the trans fluid warms up a bit, it feels buttery smooth. Hopefully it will be same for you!
Incase anyone is reading this now, this is common for FRS/BRZ/86's. Changing the trans fluid helps a lot, as well as the engine being warm, as degenerate said.
Next time you change your oil you'll probably notice the faint smell of e85 in your oil. e85 tends to break down oil faster than regular fuel and can also add a very small amount of water to the oil over time. The higher weight helps combat both of those. Also, The higher weight helps with oil pressure/temp during hard driving conditions. When running e85 you should also be changing your oil more frequently than you would with traditional fuel. Thanks for watching!

Sounds like your synchros are about to go out, or your oil is too thin/thick/bad.
