Appreciate the videos! I’ve never raced a car or even been to a track but picked up an 86 recently and plan to have some fun with it. *life long car and racing enthusiast that just got a late start
Just picked up a 24’ 86 and will be doing this soon in preparation for its first track day. Are you willing to share your Rays 57 and RPF1 wheel/tire specs? Car looks great!
I'm currently using the RBF600, I also have a bottle of SRF for future bleeds. One issue I have with the SRF is the bottle size, 1L vs Motul's 500ml, a bleed on my car takes a little less than 500ml (dirty to clear fluid in my catch bottle). I don't know if after opening the SRF how long the self life of the fluid is, the unused fluid sitting in the opened bottle is bound to start absorbing some water. Do you think its safe running the SRF that was opened a year earlier? I do a bleed at the start of ever season.
Hi there, thanks for the great vid! Want to flush out the original dot3 fluid as I'm afraid it's boiling easily during track days. If i understood correctly you mentioned you used around 500ml to flush the whole system? Do you think it takes 1/4 per caliper to make sure every line is completely flushed? (Sorry for long comment)

Thanks for watching! I hope you enjoy your car
One of the most top to bottom explanations in very simple terms 👌 love the content
Thank you!!
Doing this today, motul 600 because it's less corrosive and okay for general use. Thanks!
Thank you for watching!
Nice video. I'll be doing a brake fluid change to my GR86 soon.
Thank you!!
Same, getting prepared for my first track day
Don’t hesitate to use a motive brake bleeder. Dare I saw it’s even easier than this Harbor Freight pump method. Regardless good video!!
I’ll look into that, thank you
harbor freight pump is risky as your chances of introducing air by going through the bleed nipple is very common.

Both are 18x9.5 et38 on a 255/35/18 RE7RS Hoosier is a 225/40/18

You should be good and don’t mix the two

I’m not sure to be honest. I probably over flushed the system to make sure all the fluid was out.
@@phelpsgarage4202 did mine today: used 1l overall but i'd say whole system is now with motul RBF600. Looking forwards to test it on track.
Where do you get your wings from?
