This video highlights the installation steps of Diode Dynamics Switchback LED Boards for the 2016-2018 Nissan Maxima. CAD-designed for the 2016-2018 Nissan Maxima's headlight housing, our LED boards drop right in place of the stock DRL LEDs.
With our Switchback LED Boards installed, your 2016-2018 Nissan Maxima will have a MUCH brighter white DRL that alternates with a brilliant amber turn signal flasher! Best of all, each set of our Switchback LED Boards are manufactured right here in the U.S.A.

Hi, so I already have the halo rings installed with their drivers. Is that gonna affect adding 2 more drivers?
Also do they stay on and bright when is day light and the setting is automatic?
The additional drivers in this kit are required for the LED boards. They illuminate white for your parking lights and DRLs, with a dimmed power level at night. Anytime you hit your turn signal, they light up in a brilliant amber that is even brighter to indicate signaling.

I got a question so it looks like my 2018 Nissan maxima the led board strip has gone out partially on my driver side and I was wondering is there a small fix to that or would I have to replace the light completely? It looks like there is moisture in there as well maybe could be the cause…. If you can help me I would appreciate it greatly

Hey Kevin! Unfortunately, we do not offer or recommend replacing halogen or HID headlight bulbs with LED bulbs, as they are illegal in the US.

On this video where did you wire in the new power supply since you aren't using the old one? Also will these turn on during the day like the OEM ones or only when you turning your Parking/Headlights on?

Will these work with the 2019 maxima
The 2019 Maxima headlight is not the same as the 2016-2018 headlight, so our LED board replacements will not be compatible, unfortunately. Sorry about that!

Are your RGB w remote bulbs for a 2017 Maxima direct replacement bulbs? As in remove stock bulbs and plug in yours and presto, everything works? I don't know jack about wiring so I don't want to deal with that! =).

Only if the 2019 also uses the exact same headlight assembly as you see in the video, otherwise it will not be compatible.

How much brighter is this than stock?
The white will be pretty close in brightness to what stock is, with an extremely bright amber for turn signal.
How to remove the palstic ?

Is ur led bulbs DLT approved for 2016 Nissan Maxcima
Great question! While these lights are fully street legal in most areas, we don't stamp them with D.O.T approval that may be required in your area.

Can I upgrade my led headlights my friend have the maxima but the led not like your maxima ( the led lights not covering the led form )

What is the white color of the DRL on this mod? 5000k? 6000k?

@@diovalremonde2468 J. R. The board completely replaces the factory DRL Board. The new board has not only 6000K cool white LEDs, but also 3000K amber LEDs for a turn signal. That's what we mean by "Switchback." The factory DRL does not have this function!

The color of LED daytime its Not the same as the factory color. The factory color is pearly white
