Where did you attach the larger wiring harness? I only saw the small harness attached to the back of the ss3 directly into the existing vehicle harness. There is a larger harness included in the box and im wonder where that goes
The larger harness is for the option to have amber backlight for a minimal light output. I opted to not install the harness I felt that I wouldn’t use it much or want it. But I may change my mind. Thanks for the comment!
Thanks, I ordered the elite series with the backlight and I'm struggling with the install. I ordered the seperate plug and play harness for the backlight option and I don't get how it all is supposed to come together and which wires connect to what
I am not sure about that, best way to tell would be to look down in that area of your truck to see if there is one in place. Let me know if you see one! I’m curious myself. Should be just a two pin connector with a blank or cap down there if there is one!
Pro installed, and the amber backlight is linked up with your DRL/ parking lights and is only powered when those are on. It’s to match your DRL’s during the day to either become more visible/ also it just looks cool. When you turn on the fogs it is no longer powered and turns on fog lights. I did not install this option for mine.
@@alexanderwesterlund1 no we’re talking about the dynamic fog lights you can get a sport, which is less bright a pro and then max, which is super bright which one do you have?
I Absolutely recommend that. But this works fine if you’re good at working in tight spaces. (I work in aviation and my life is tight hard to reach spaces with no visibility on what you are doing) Only took about 5 min a side this way.
Woah! That difference is huge
oh wow!! the difference is wild!!
Nice I just ordered mine. Are these sport, or pro? I got the pros.
Pros! You’re going to love them.

Great video 👊🏼
Nice! Do you know if a 2023 tacoma that doesn't have factory fog lights has the wiring in place for the upgrade?

I'm helping my son with the upgrade soon and am trying to plan what we'll need. I'll let you know.
@@x..Steve..x Awesome, if there is not a harness I’m sure someone somewhere sells one!
Any tips on the final alignment angle of the lights? Facing down, dead middle, or max facing up???
Beautiful truck, What kind of tires do you have ?
Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs, thanks!
On the website there is a power level: sport, pro, & max. Which one did you install in your taco?
What is the amber backlight option also please?
