2016 Nissan Maxima with 242k miles. Bought it at 33K miles used. Changed the spark plugs at 200k miles, shocks and struts at 200k miles. Battery at 210k miles, and just changed my serpentine belt at 242k miles. I get valvoline oil changes and transmission oil changes religiously. Primarily highway (Hershey PA - Capitol heights MD - NJ), and ultimately very happy with the Maxima. Was so worried about the CVT Transmission but I guess if you take care of it it’ll take care of you. Mind you I’ve been in 2 accidents and it’s still good.

I’m so happy to read this. I am approaching 90K on my 2016. I am so scared the cvt is going to go out any day now but glad to see yours is still strong at 200K+. Seems Nissan really addressed the cvt issues in this generation. What tires do you run?

I've got a 2017.5 Maxima SR Midnight Edition (black on black on black) which I bought new. Just touched past 20,000 miles and it is an awesome ride. The dealership has tried to buy it or talk me into trading it in many times over. I can't bring myself to do it! It's just the finest meshing of luxury, sport, very respectable fuel mileage for the power, and affordability in my humble opinion.

I 1st bought a 2007 Maxima with about 74k miles in 2014 and loved it but I was living in northeast Ohio then, the car ran very much strong but it weathered quickly. Fast forward to 2020 and now living in Florida. I sold the '07 with 160k miles and drove off the showroom floor a brand new Maxima platinum in 2020. It only has 20k now in 2022 and as expected no issues but what I can say is that the '07 had far better gas mileage than my '20, it has about the same awesome power under the hood. It does have many upgrades all around. I'm very happy with it overall, I'm considering doing some modifications like a resonator and a splitter.

2016 nissan maxima SR with 150k miles. works like it did the first day i bought it. The only issue I had, is the wheel bearings can give out and results in a grindy noise while driving. when you need to have them replaced make sure you go with the OEM wheel bearings, the nonstandard wheel bearings give out in a few months.

There was a time that my car broke down, and I was renting. The Agency gave my the Altima twice 4cyl, hated that. Then the Maxima loved the smooth and quick acceleration. Love the look of the Maxima, but still I am skeptical of the CVT and reliability in the long run like the Accord & Camry.
