ABOUT ARE YOU SMARTER THAN A 5TH GRADER?:
Are you Smarter Than a 5th Grader? demonstrates exactly how much adults have forgotten since their elementary school days. Art? Math? Social Studies? It's all up on the chalkboard again as adult contestants team up with students to answer questions based on material from elementary school textbooks.

You know it's bad when they want to "introduce the family real quick" after a wrong answer has been given lol.
I went 8-0 on one of the games without using a cheat.
Pride before a fall 😔 happens all the time. Poor Andrew
Cody sold two different dudes 😂
I don’t like when the the adults don’t shake or fist bump the kids on the back row
This guy used to help his fifth grade teacher correct tests and all of a sudden, he could not get second grade grammar? The fifth-fastest flunk out in game show history on Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader? What happened? You would think this guy would ultimately beat the game and instead, he has the fifth-fastest flunk out in the history of the game, behind four contestants that all flunked out on the first question. That's tough to handle.
He _used_ to help his fifth grade teacher. The point of this show is that no matter how smart of a kid you used to be, there's a good chance you've forgotten some of the things you learned.
Lol
Do you want a security officer or security guard at all or not at all Jeff?!’
I swear they could not have scripted Andrews’ game anymore than they already did with that Million Dollar Question lol
They can't script ANYTHING. THAT has been illegal since the 1950s quiz show scandals.
When you've got all three cheats left, I'd try and answer the hardest questions, the children are all from the 5th grade, so.....
@@zoyarajennursingh949 but thr 5th grade questions are often where thr kids mess up. It is best to do that, but keep the peek and save. Thr copy should be used when you have NO IDEA.
At 1:06:31, Jeff said that Jason still had his Copy and his Save left, but the cheats accidentally said that he still had his Peek and his Save, as he used his Peek.
True
It’s okay Andrew don’t worry about it it’s just a game so what you missed a second grade question it doesn’t matter if you didn’t know it
18:26 He should have exposited on his reasoning for choosing “8”. At 18:56 is the explanation!
I think that Olivia is adorable! I love how at 20:08, she made a display of locking in her answer.
31:55 Mackenzie REALLY needs to work on her Poker Face!
Contestants, 1, 4, and 5 started at the bottom and worked their way up.
The questions about authors are BS. Even if grade schoolers are reading "Little House on the Prarie", most classes don't learn about the actual authors. There was another episode that asked about who wrote "Guliver's Travels"... what kid would know that?
What did Cody answer on the Greek myth question
I dont get why the contestants dont save the first grade questions for the lategame
is this shoot/taped the one season in one day???
I thought the funny-bone was called the humorous
It is but it’s also the elbow.
The bone is called the humerus, but the nerve ending that causes the unpleasant sensation when you hit your funny bone is in your elbow.
The funny bone isn't even a bone. It's technically the ulnar nerve.
Didnt learn the different types of nouns until 6th grade but somehow thats a 2nd grade question i guess.
I wonder how much money Jason had to pay in taxes?
Yikes... Lauren was not the sharpest turnip in the alphabet... she didn't know "is" (to be) was a verb and was actually thinking "for" was a verb, and she was flipping fractions to try to get to an improper fraction. That was kind of painful to watch.
Also, fun fact: as someone who lived in Chile for seven years, I can tell you that despite the name of the country and the fact that it's kind of shaped like a chile pepper, most of the food there is incredibly bland... it's a carb-heavy, meat-heavy diet where some people can't even handle black pepper. You need to go to Peru if you want the exciting food most people associate with Latin America.
Jeff fox the anthem you cheated on the answer you gave
Wow Cody, there was no pronoun in that entire sentence
