Anyone wanna try to guess who each of them are? Son of a retired army colonel = Danny A music prodigy = Steve An expert woodbanger = Leon An ex Gang Member = Vatos A Mechanic = Sluggo or Ribs US Army man = Dale Berkely College of Music = Sluggo or Ribbs Gourmet Cook = Kerry I guess!
@@nuclearcatbaby1131 Well, we all know that NOW... But back in 1983 when the show aired, Danny's fictional biography claimed he was born in Amarillo, TX, and was the son of a retired colonel. He created this story to make himself sound a bit more interesting! LOL
This is only the third video I can find of Steve playing the J.B. Player Mercury guitar. Only about five or six were ever made, and he had two--one stock, one specially made for him. It's too bad that the picture here is so gritty. It's a wicked cool guitar that has been sadly lost to the annals of history. The other two videos featuring Steve's Mercurys are the MV3 appearance in 1982 (during Nothing to Fear) and the middle third of the US Festival 1983 concert.
I used to watch Thicke of the Night all the time. Weeknights from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. Denver time! This is also where Arsenio Hall got his start on tv. COOL!

Ribbs is the mechanic I believe. Sluggo is the Berklee grad. He toured with Annette Peacock for a while before the Mystic Knights took off
Danny is a music prodigy. He’s just an adult prodigy instead of a child prodigy. But he was a teen prodigy at radiation science apparently.

I think this IS the studio version (from Good for Your Soul).
Yep, formerly the tv programs were too lazy to install cables, amplifiers and all those things (not all)
sweet post!
When did this show originally air?
@feefafo I agree. I wouldn't want to run into Sluggo in a dark alley, lol.
Danny's wearing way too many clothes! :D
