I'm just wondering & you've probably already answered this question. Why did you use flattened 3D shapes instead of the grease pen, are there advantages?), I'm not that I'm complaining, nothing wrong with knowing different approaches to the same problem. (Especially with Blender, way to common for something that seems simple to not work for whatever reason.)
I have a question, at 2:55 while using the Bevel tool, (Ctrl+Shift+B and scrolling to get more vertices and then moving the mouse around while not pressing any other key) it does move the vertices but it does it in a linear way, they are not curving. What am I doing wrong? thanks in advance!
Hey great tutorial! Just wondering how did you dissassemble the bird into different shapes at the very beginning?
Thanks i was searching for this for months
Glad we could help :D

pweez make a video on how to edit the legs like shape layer or curves so it can bend like in the intro
we'll look into it! :D
You can use bendy bones.
Pixxio has a tutorial showing how to do it.
