Been seeing HUGE growth in the number of people using blender for 2d animations lately. Expect great things to come from it. I think I speak for most when I say: we're getting burnt out on 3d-looking 3d animation.
It's because blender now lets you make most of the art WITHIN the same engine, and you can add 3D freely for perspective guiding and such, so it's faster and easier than having to install five different suits and learn them separately, just to output five seconds of animation. I tried like two years ago and it was still a pain in the butt to implement changes, now it's easier and faster workflow.
Love how you guys present real professional quality use cases with Grease Pencil. I'm positive the industry & artists will slowly start to realize how great combination creating 2D art in native 3D environment is! Awesome work as always! 🥰
Thank you so much! We really want people to be able to see how much can be achieved with free software, so theres no real limit to learning and growing :)
This is incredibly beautiful and skilful to see, I hope to one day achieve this level of mastery within Blender and produce my own animated scenes. Thanks for this video!
Really cool. You could add a little bit os Blur and glow to break the " vector feel " os some drawings parts, but other than that, I love it. Congratulations and thank you for sharing!
amazing!! now this combined with the latest sophie jantak video about painting with shapes is gonna be next level! not that it isn't already mind blowing enough :D
This is just... Wow. i have only recently gotten into animating and the teams videos have truly inspired me. im a real beginner and i was wondering if there is like a tutorial on how to make a simple animation for beginners. but another question i have is how long did it take for you to make this animation?
There are quite a few if you search for easy beginner grease pencil animations. try this ua-cam.com/video/pywbPQD9vYU/v-deo.html for starters :) We also have a beginners playlist on our channel if you want to try it out :) ua-cam.com/play/PLc4fpL_lmoTebYS2dUVb2FfVnJ8xCnc3w.html
Beautiful results! Some weirdness going on with one of the branches in the front left Kinda wish when there was an eagle sound, that you'd have added a bird flying past in the background somewhere as well, but eh, not the focus of this work
@@TeamMiracles your first project should be xiao sitting on a ledge. It's moonlit night with some clouds and he is just hovering over liyue harbor! Please do this!
What the main idea of this video? Is this a tutorial or just a time-line of your work? This video is too fast to learn something. But you are doing a great job with greace pencil

4:24 how did you get the color palette to float in the 3d space like that?
🔥🔥🔥
Love this! Holy shit!

Genshin impact is such a good reference for good views! I would highly recommend playing it!
Its beautiful! We'd love to try that style in 2D potentially :D

MY GREASE PENCIL objects are overlapping each other. Why is that?
Nice, maybe try a scene from Arcane? ;) Roughly the same art style.
Sounds awesome! We'll definitely look into it :D
5:14 how can you fill as you draw?
Before using the brush tool, make sure you tick "fill" under materail properties. This should make it fill as you draw
👍
do you have a course
