Nice video. That is the biggest elevator I have ever seen!
Very cool elevator!
I remember this elevator. Awesome vintage elevator. Is that sound from a fan? If not, I think it might be the motor generator. I heard relays when you pressed the inch buttons.
fantastic. this is a very entertaining elevator.
Yeah, fit 2 modern small compact cars, or a Crown VIc, Town Car, Caprice, etc...
Dieselducy, you don't need to hold down the door close or open button because I saw a button that said "Door stop"
What is the purpose of the inch down, inch up?
i rode this today and i even had an epic fail lol
Wot is this elevator name?
Traction?
Can you just ride it, or do you have to ask permission?
Just 2 views?!?!
I wonder if they locked it because people were vandalizing it, so they thought unauthorized people were riding.
i don't know where this elevator is even located!! i just stoped asking if they got permission to ride this freight elevator because i am definitely not very sure it is in a storage area

I highly doubt he had permission to ride this elevator.
What is the inch up and inch down buttons for ??
***** being that it a freight elevator, it may be for the loading & unloading items some how??
if the elevator for some reason isn't perfectly level with the ground, moving freight can be difficult. so inch up and inch down can help the elevator level
Thanks guys ;)
Sure is big
yes it was :0
