This guide worked perfectly, other than one note: the glass back I bought came with the lens cover already installed, minus the diffuser bead for the light. I have to gently removed it from the old one and very, very carefully glue it in place in the new one. Make sure you make not of the orientation of the bead when installing it.
Well, I will tell you my story about replacing the back cover. I replaced the back cover on lg g8x and lg v60 from the first phone I managed to remove the cover without damage, but on v60 I tried to remove it without heating and broke it, but I ordered a new one from aliexpress in advance (and to my surprise the back cover from China came all covered in a film with glue on the camera on the edges of the cover and also in special places where the cover touches the body of the phone in the middle. Everything was glued well, but there is a big problem on both phones when someone calls you, the sound seems to be duplicated as an echo. Please help me, maybe someone had such a problem, I think the phone's tightness is broken, but I don't know how to fix...
What's with the music? if I wanted to watch a 1920 guy with the arm Bell mustache or Charlie Chapman falling off the roof, or crank turning a Ford model T, would've prepped myself with 🍿 searched for a video 🏃🏃🏃😁😁.
Ah I see what you did there! Put the blue back glass on the silver trim version. I was thinking about doing this as well but now I thing I wanna make it see through
How do I know if need to buy a replacement case with OR without the camera frame? My camera is not broken and just want replace the glass. I see two options on Ebay...Unfortunately the insurance i ahve wants to replace this phone with the Velvet and not another V60 :(
There were already adhesive paste on the new back cover when you bought it from the seller? You didn't apply any paste on the back cover before you attach it on the phone?
@@mikemodano3108 hi. Thanks for reply. Maybe you can advise how glue back original back cover if I remove it to change camera glass. I mean how to change glue around? I cannot find video on this matter.
@@SamurayAlex1980 You can use this video to show you how to separate the cam glass from the back. Afterwards use a little liquid glue (something thats decent or strong bonding) on the glass black to reseal.
@@jb9192 Don't go too deep when you separate it. Also, be careful and give less heat when you separate around camera lens otherwise camera could get damaged.
If it was screw down with 6 or 8 screws and a regular rubber o-ring it would of been easy. This is not easy and it is defiantly easy to damage the phone during the repair. I guess for what this for is it is probably the only way to do it.
It is a very smart and clever but a good way to lose a lot of customers because once the back of your phone or your phone is cracked you lose the warranty

@@SamurayAlex1980 alternatively ebay literally has v60 glass cam lens less than 5 bucks with adhesive already on them. Press & Play
mine melted to the phone and came off in tiny shards that took hours to get off and ended up breaking the phone in the process
Do you know if the inner glass for the Lg v60 case is sold separately?
What do you mean by 'inner glass'?
Inner glass of dual screen case, when case is opened it is the screen on the left.

Good tutorial, heat is not necessary, but helpful.
Heat can help
Heat really isn't necessary?
I have a question, do these parts have the same coating as the original ones?
It depends on the seller you choose.
@@cellfixmobile623 thanks! i'm gonna look it up on ebay
Do they do this in store?
THANK YOU!
Couldn't find the part on your site

@@AlexSaenzvlogs You can find it on online stores such as alibaba
They sell them on amazon and some sellers have the combo where the camera lense cover is included so you don't have to reuse the old one
