Riding Buell Motorcycle's Super Crusier Prototype

- The @buell.motorcyles Super Cruiser prototype is unlike anything we’ve ever experienced. As a production vehicle the Super Cruiser is hard to beat right now. The entire package is tight and everything works harmoniously: suspension, braking, acceleration, cornering. It’s just fluid and ticks the boxes for a complete riding experience. Hammering on the throttle is instantaneous fun. Halting the bike is immediate as well. It’s just smooth overall. We think Buell’s new Super Cruiser will do wonders for the future of performance cruisers and the customers who are seeking something truly unique.
For the naysayers out there skeptical that the prototype isn’t as cool as the @RolandSandsDesign concept… don’t knock it til you try it.

Never owned a cruiser type bike, getting older now and this thing looks perfect
Bring it. It will sell Big. May provide Buell with more success then they have ever had to date.
I'm a 20+ year sports bike rider and want to switch over to something more comfortable so I went to KTM's Superduke 1290 and got a little comfort but a newly discovered love for big power vtwin engines, the lc8 is a gateway engine for me.
I'm still in search of more comfort but not wanting to switch over to a full on cruiser and the Super Cruiser is just the right mix for me. I can't wait for my Super Cruiser!
Needs a bag kit... Hard case of course. A Buell bag kit specifically for the bike
We need more videos like this! Gotta keep me motivated for the next year. I keep wanting to buy a sport touring bike, but know its worth the wait. But im sick of 50hp 😂
Nice bike👍
So sick lookin … damn
On the list, can’t wait
Nobody knows Me, but please send one immediately so I can ride it around....and keep. Godspeed
Salute
Wanted an American bike that put function above form and this looks like it. There's a sport touring version I'd consider as long as price isn't insane
Do you guys think companies will make after market parts for thses bikes
What height of rider are these good for?
If a person dosent turn wrenches, hasn't the skills or the tools and space, just likes to ride. Where can these bikes be serviced? Will the the local Harley service department even touch them?
Modern FXR. But cruise at 7,000 rpm?
Is Eric Buell involved in the design and production of these bikes?
Or are they just using his name?
It's Erik (clearly, you're a fan). And no, he's not. But before you get your panties in a wad, there hasn't been a Buick an Olds or a Chevrolet (all people's last names) at General Motors for over a hundred years. Nor has there been a Dodge brother or Walter Chrysler at Mopar for almost as long.
@@TheBuelliganRides Good luck, (clearly you are an employee) with bike sales.
@@therory6888 I'm an employee of nobody. Clearly you have trouble with reality.
@@therory6888 it's cute, how you tried to be cute though. Next time, just don't. 🤡
So NOW you Pay Roland Sands😂😂😂... And Every other person involved😂😂😂... Time Will Tell😊😊😊...
This reminds me a lot of the Triumph Thunderbird Sport from the 90’s. Looks like a similar philosophy of bike but obviously more American.
It's more closely modeled after the Harley-Davidson FXR. Which Erik Buell helped to design when he worked as an engineer for Hardly Dildoson.
Since Harley won’t build the Bronx I hope Buell builds this lol
Why don’t any of the custom builders use that engine in a cruiser type hot rod bike it’s available used all over the place.
the older Buell motors were super common to swap, but it's very difficult to package a water cooled motor into say an FXR chassis. Even with a cheap doner bike you'd be well into the $30k range while not being factory reliable. It's such a steal for mid $20s.
because Builders want a stripped down look... but to do that, you had to go with an Air cooled engine. But air cooled engines have limited power output because otherwise they over heat. Notice that this has a radiator in the front. Most custom builders hate that 🤷🏿♂️
@ragingtyga when I went to Daytona and there were tons of custom fabricators, and they've always wanted what the SC was. But just couldn't make it work. For another reason other than the radiator is where the intake manifold is. I'm still really wondering how they fit it under the tank, or in between. Packaging that motor is a whole lot of work.
@@backroadbeetle4781 right... the reason is because It's hard to get that stripped down "custom look" with a liquid cooled engine, and it's basically impossible to make a high performance bike using an Air cooled engine. You have to choose. The SC is nice, but it's not going to be as modifiable as a Traditional Harley, and I hope people understand that. You're buying this bike for the most part to keep AS IS. Maybe some bags, or different qtr fairing... but you're not making a chopper out of this
@ragingtyga luckily it already looks like a tricked out Dyna anyhow, and you'll save tens of thousands in modifications to be still slower than the SC 🤣
Starting to look more like a naked bike. I’d like to see it look more like a cruiser.
Yea I wish it had mid controlls
You’re starting to ask for something that already exists lol
@mcnuggetapple nonlike more like on a dyna
@@runnin_myles8098 I’m pretty sure they’re meaning for this to be super customizable, with a huge aftermarket
@@mcnuggetappleyeah we have that already, ether buy a late model Dyna, which this thing is ripping off if in look, or buy a Harley Softail Standard... which is like Half the price and is a complete blank slate traditional looking cruiser
2:44 - So, in order for you to keep it cool, you had to make it less cool? Y'all should've used the original radiator design, to add to. The new, two piece radiator is ugly, and there's a noticeable gap.
4:25 - I want it to look more like the concept bike, in how the radiator, taillight, and exhaust look.
do you want your bike in 2025 or 2030 haha?
the exhaust is to make it legal much quicker, the radiator has everybody bitching about how it looked. I thought it was awesome but unfortunately everyone else ruined that
It's not a million dollar prototype.
Come on, man
Back fender is hideous!
Yeah, we fell in love with your prototype, not this
This is exactly the same, they have to make it legal to sell coconuthead
Not a cruiser if your feet are tucked up and behind your butt. You would never be able to tour on it.
Well…it’s not a touring bike…it’s a sport/cruiser. Cruising doesn’t mean touring.
plenty of space for highway pegs, the first thing I'll probably do is make an engine guard with them.
🤞😎
I’ve been wanting a cruiser with rear sets for a long time.
But wait a minute..... that thing is absolutely hideous!
Read it has three counterbalance shafts, three! And it still vibrates the handle bars. Not my cup of tea. Over engineered marginal design
Sorry bud… but it looks like it’s been made up from a parts bin…
screw california. build America the bike, not that communist state.
