I was just gonna say, 51+ mins for a 1min+ trailer... she is a godsend
Lemme just say, this is the kind of 'going above and beyond' that fills your channel with so many wholesome people and that other creators can only dream of making. I mean you have an EYE!! Your pacing is impeccable and over 50 min worth of tiny, little details from a 1-minute trailer! This shows exactly how much passion and love you put into your channel, for your members and just how much you simply adore this game! And we get to live that island love right along with you, such an honor. Two amazing things: 1. Lily's Dress, LILY'S Dress, LILY'S DRESS!!!! Beyond gorgeous!! I mean, we don't want to break Sisco's machine but, we need that dress on a shirt!!! (So, would that then be a dress shirt? Sorry, couldn't help myself). And: 2. The sus chicken burrito wrap on the baby!! So funny!! Yet another video where you have hit it out of the ballpark, and into the neighboring county's ballpark!! I love the way you say poppies, it sounded like you were saying puppies and I quickly looked up from my work and was looking all over the screen for puppies. Also seeing Lily in her wedding dress actually move her up a level on my ladder for the marriable candidates. She is nearing the top now.
I was surprised and delighted to see her in something so elegant! She's lovely but dresses more casually in her day to day, which makes sense for her job and character. But I'm glad she knows she deserves to dress like a princess on her wedding day!

I had basically lost all hope on Early Access games to be completed and farming games in general, with the portia ones not really getting to me, but Coral Island was everything they claimed to be and more and I love it.
Again, thank you for making your videos and sharing your passion of these games
39:36 that room set is sooooooooooooo nostalgic!! Gave me flashback to my 2 years of studying abroad in Yogyakarta(beautiful city, the folks are so friendly and welcoming that always smiles at me whenever I pass them, tons of good street food, especially if you love sweet and savory ones). And yes, that's what a typical kos-kosan(it's like a boarding house or apartment, but privately owned by regular household instead of a business building. Like AirBnB or RedDoor but not corporate owned).
The typical room of a kos-kosan is like moderately small(but the rent itself is very affordable). The wobbly plastic cabinet, the zippered closet, the "air galon", the shoe rack with sandal jepit(very comfortable), the Iconic(tm) Red Plastic Chair(a definite MUST for kos-kosan look. Surprisingly sturdier than you expected), and they even have the Indomie carton box! I used to buy that sweet savory delectable goodness of instant noodle(they do not called it 'instant ramen' there) by the bulk, and emptied it in less than a month lol. Mine didn't have a washer and kitchen inside the room, but rather a communal one(my landlady always cook fried rice with telor ceplok and shredded cabbage and sambal terasi for our breakfast)
But the one that brought me so much nostalgia is the pink-stripped kasur(mattress). It was stuffed with cotton, so it's very firm, yet fluffy. It's refreshingly cool during the kemarau season, but warm in rain season. But you do have to take it out and air it outside at least twice a month so it won't be damp and clumps up(my landlady was very strict about this rule in particular). But I was told that they no longer use this type of mattress anymore and switched to foam ones.

I didn't realize there was a spoiler in that scene with the Merfolk princess. I did catch the spoiler related to main story involving the Merfolk though and I am surprised they did that because in the Discord, they don't talk about it in the general chat, but in the spoiler chat.
So happy I can wear a wedding dress and even pick my own. I am curious in how the Children will look too. OMG I can't tell you how happy I am that the children already in town will grow up too. That was a nickpick I had with Stardew, the fact that the 3 kids in game don't grow up too (or become teens at least).

Interesting! Looks like Bobby might be occupying the niche of 'the good enemy.' The good enemy is the one who challenges us to improve, to try harder. They motivate us to be a better version of ourselves--if only to spite them!
I notice that they didn't show us the ocean current. I wonder if that is eventually going to be a method for traveling to other islands?

Everything looks so great. I'm specially excited for the different biomes that We'll get to explore. I just wish that the characters attending the wedding had a special outfit for those events and not look out of place wearing shorts and stuff like that 😅
I appreciate your timestamps and spoiler alerts! It is interesting that they showed many spoilers in this short trailer. I guess it is there way of promoting the game to those who aren't aware of it at all. I do think they really don't have a clear strategy for promoting this game other than relying on our queen!

There is one monster ATM I've noticed playing in water mine shaft, it looks like a little bandit. It does a jump attack. Once you get out of it's red circle it'll stagger itself if it doesn't hit you.

I’ve been wanting this game for at least a year now, but I didn’t buy it. I kept telling myself to just be patient and wait for the full release, even though that was hard lol But now the release is basically around the corner. I stayed away from all spoilers, so I really have no idea what the story even is for the game but I, excited to watch this video

PS: the backpack when the player fights the ogre looks like it's from demon slayer, but idk if it also maybe has a cultural background :)
So here are some of my hopes for the 1.0 release (in no particular order). A: being able to wear hats and still have hair showing rather than defaulting to all hair under the hat. B: being able to edit our lip colors (a weird pet peeve but I don’t love how anemic my character looks lol) C: being able to remove wallpaper/floorings and keep it (if this exists then I never figured it out) D: getting to access the cellar next to your house

Not yet, that is on the roadmap for 2024
Two questions that might be answerable from early access play:
1) is it better to offer or donate first if something is both offerable and donatable?
2) do enchantments remain in effect after you upgrade your tools or should you focus on upgrades first?
In the early access the enchantments do from memory. I focused on upgrading the enchantments over tool upgrading as they would give extra drops/save energy esp early game
I've started playing 4 weeks ago and am currently in the middle of my first winter. I've completed so many things already and it is devastating to know my progress will reset soon 😥 Really bad timing for me.

This guy found in the stareway games page with coral island that they are ending our saved game eventually and will offer us to play till January but in the 1.0 release this year, there will be a new game play because they say they changed too much not to reset our progress and that we can only keep our money but only when we do some kind of setting from the old file. Can you find this and explain it foe us in a more positive way? Thank you.
oh i‘m curious about the option to opt out of combat, i didnt know about this even though i have many many hours in this game lmao. canyou unlock everything without combat? monsters drop a bunch of loot, you wont get that without combat, right?

Sadly we need to reset to use the 1.0 release but you can keep your money! You can go back to your old save and keep it!
Can't wait to play more did a little bit but sadly up till 4 weeks ago I was sick for 6 months ended up in surgery only now starting to feel humen again have it for pc but want to get it fir ps 5 and switch seen I tend to play the system that's easiest for me when something happens

I played Coral Island back when it first released and it was understandably bare boned. That was over a year ago, I'm pretty sure. Is there benefit to playing the current release of the game before 1.0 comes out, or should I wait until 1.0 and be fully surprised by all the updates I've missed over time?
I would wait until it comes out to play as you will have to restart at full release. Everything will be in order to experience. UNLESS you have made major coins as the money you make will be transferred to the new game. If you want a head start so you can purchase items, it may be worth playing to get those coins.

So does the whole Farm layout reset when they mean full slate or can you choose to keep your farm layout even with losing progress>???
it's going to be a full hard reset. your only option is to retain the total earnings from your current save.

Yes you will need to start over for the 1.0 release as they have changed so much in the game, they want people to play in order and find the new content. You can keep all of the money you made that will help you proceed faster.
Yeah, but for me money is the least important thing, I have my island level A, the ocean clean, the offerings to the temple level 2... I know they warned about it from what I've read, but my English is horrible and I imagine that They would notify you in that language (I am using a translator🥲 )@@barbaracordelie
