Cheers. I find they grow quite quickly if you feed and water well. I hope it does well for you.

Great video. My zantedechais came back after -11 last year. I was absolutely amazed,I love this plant and do find the ones I have in full sun, don't do as well. I left a colocasia mammoth in the ground this winter and it looks like it's survived, at -5 with a bark mulch on top, I tried last year but the -11 was too much for it. I nearly bought the redemption last year, but wondered how Hardy it would be. Having watched this, I will probably get one. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and expertise

Very bad me left my colocasia black magic in my unheated but well insulated greenhouse this winter. Just tipped the pot out and found a 2cm diameter 'bulb' looking ok! Popped it in a pot of soil in the vitapod 🤞

I'm also trying to find euphorbia miners merlot, because it looks so lovely in your garden! My local b&q didn't have any that colour, so I'm really on the hunt now. Failing my hunt looks like I'll have to get a plug plant online

@NinjaTeaDrinker All the B&Q near me always have miners merlot in so just keep checking they get regular deliveries

Hi. That’s something I’m hoping to do but have to make sure customers are happy for me to share footage. Cheers.

Thank you for a great video. My esculenta without me realising had put out new growth in feb time then possibly got frosted or lack of water The new growth never did anything.. it's in a big pot in my cold conservatory but nothing happening. Is it just a case of waiting and the bulb will find a new growth point when it is ready? The old growth point has since withered. thank you, regards Rich. ps bulb is more out of soil than in soil so I will be planting lower if it is a goer. Last year huge leaves. Any advice appreciative. Thanks

      Hi. Generally all Colocasias
Need two things to start them into growth. Heat. Once temps warm up or with a heat mat or something similar and humidity or slight moisture around the corm. The standard green Esculenta doesn’t need as much heat and the more tropical ones so as long as the corm doesn’t have any rot then it should grow new growth points once continuous warm days come.
