Been around PCs along time, woken up this morning to Co pilot being force installed. Amazing video, short sweet and to the point!
Thank you very much. I wish more people were this direct in how they present information videos. You sir are Excellent!!!!!
nice to be able to simply turn it off, I resent that windows always has to force these little junk tools on us everytime it has a new "upgrade". at least they should have them disabled by default. Thank you for giving clear concise instruction on its diablement. I use my Alienware PC for games, not writing "wonderous" stories or doing music videos. If I wanted that I'd buy another PC. We don't need these so-called "tools" on all users' PCs! GP is for Professional editions(which I highly recommend users purchasing for the little extra cash to "home"). My AW is a Home Dell only offers those in Home but you can easily upgrade on MS website. again thinks for the instructions. I've subbed you and Liked the vid!
Your comment demonstrates a total lack of empathy and respect. Let's start with the basics: Windows Copilot is not limited to "writing stories" or creating "music videos" It offers a wide range of useful functionalities for users, such as automating tasks, conducting quick web searches, providing assistance in file organization, and much more that will be implemented.
It's surprising that you easily label Copilot as "trash," completely ignoring the value this technology has for many people. You may not need it for your daily activities, but it's essential to understand that the world doesn't revolve around your own preferences.
For people with physical disabilities, Windows Copilot is more than just a tool; it's an instrument that grants them the independence that many of us take for granted. Just for a moment, imagine that you lack the physical ability to perform basic tasks on a computer. Now, think about how Copilot can change the lives of these individuals, allowing them to control their computer, write texts, browse the web, and carry out other tasks with dignity and autonomy. Technology can be a very useful tool for inclusion; we should use it to uplift and support each other instead of creating divisions.
Labeling something so valuable to people with disabilities as "trash" demonstrates your lack of empathy and consideration. It's important to remember that technology can be a powerful tool to enhance the quality of life for everyone. Before making disdainful comments, it's crucial to try to understand the impact this technology can have on the lives of those who need it the most. Instead of emphasizing what you consider useless for yourself, you should express gratitude for having the opportunity to fully engage in something that others have never had even half of. What may seem "useless" to you today could be of great use to a potential future child or someone you hold in high esteem, who may not have realized it yet because they spend most of their time thinking about themselves.
@@ZokaAland Forcing AI assistants on consumers is vile, people with disabilities have always had secondary means to improve their functionality with computers. Your false empathy is a disgrace, and people with disabilities don't need you to use them as an excuse for your bitterness.
@@Zachary- Bruh.
Forcing AI assistants on consumers is vile":
That statement is exaggerated and irrational. The introduction of AI assistants aims to improve the user experience, and nothing more.
"People with disabilities have always had secondary means to improve their functionality with computers":
That's an absurd generalization. The so-called "secondary means" may not be suitable or accessible for all people with disabilities. Ignoring this is ignoring the reality for many individuals.
"Your false empathy is a disgrace":
Labeling my empathy as false is a desperate attempt to discredit my argument. If you disagree, present facts instead of baseless attacks.
"People with disabilities don't need you to use them as an excuse for your bitterness":
That's a baseless and childish accusation. My advocacy for inclusion has nothing to do with "bitterness," but rather with justice and equality for all technology users.
In summary: Your statements are based on erroneous assumptions, generalizations, and personal attacks. Need to improve.
Thank you! I'm not very confident in my computer skills, so I moved extremely slowly and carefully, listening several times to every step--took me over an hour, but I did it! No CoPilot taking up space or getting activated when I don't wish it to, etc. Keep up the good work!
ngl it took me 2 mins to do it 💀
Honestly took about 11 seconds. This dude goes through way too many steps to just kill it.

Enjoy your youth while you have it, because one day something that should only take 2 mins will take you an hour as well. In the meantime, you could practice being mature. Who knows, it might stick and you'll actually be mature.@@ThirstyEdits
It's a geek thing. You wouldn't get it.@@Ananvil
Installed my Windows without the Copilot, but an update today gave me the Copilot Preview auto enabled. This took care of it. Thank you!
Great video, perfect step-by-step explanation. Thank you!
Solid video. Found this pushed to my laptop this morning and had to get it out of there. Thanks for the assist!
Thank you so much. Your instructions were fantastic!!!
just exactly what i was looking for. thank you
Thank you good sir. This is a very easy to understand explanation and you got straight to the point of the video. Thank you.
Simple and to the point without any obtuse and convoluted instructions that Albert Einstein would not have been able to follow.
You are wonderful! Thank you!
Thanks, dawg. Subscribed!
Thank you, it was a great help!
Well, damn - you made that easy! Thank you!!!
Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Thanks, man. Although I'd have preferred how to completely remove that thing, but this helps a lot 🤔
Thank you so much, It was driving me crazy and making my pc not work that well. I just got it working well again and copilot messed it up. seems better now. WHY MS no one asked for this
Thank you! Copilot was irritating a lot, now I am free!
thanks for a quick guide
Very helpful, thank you
I have Windows 10 Home and even though I went through steps to install Group Policy Editor there was no Windows Copilot in the list. So this setting must only be available in corporate versions.
thats a good one. thankyou
Thank you so much! Following
Thank you so much for taking the time to make the video. I hate Copilot and the sidebar.
The option to remove co pilot from the task bar no longer appears in the personalize widow.
Thanks bro!
Thank you so much!
Thank you kindly
idk why i didnt look at personalization first, I can't believe I needed to look up your video. But thanks man. :)
THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Thanks mate!
Thanks you so much broo :D :)
thank you very much.
superb, i already subscribed already. will use as reference helper
S.O.S.....
Problem problem. I have windows 11 pro version. I followed the instructions carefully BUT still have annoying Co-Pilot active!!! help please.
thank you for your help!!!
The Copilot (preview) icon has appeared in my taskbar but clicking on it does nothing and there is nothing relating to Copilot in my settings/personalisation/task bar.
Thank you. You spoke clearly and slowly. Easy to understand.
thank you !!
Thank you. I had to remove it as it kept telling me that my requests were offensive. But it would not tell why it was offensive! My prompt simply asked it to make an image of the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) aircraft in the ocean with an F-14 launching off the deck with a few other F-14s circling around the carrier. It kept telling me this prompt was offensive to people!
Thank you!
Awesome, fix works.
Thank you friend.
If one could like and subscribe more than once i would. Thank you for this very simple and instructive video.
Side note i could listen to you talk all day every day 😍
Very good sir.
Thank you.
Thank you 👍
Thank you so much !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😀
amazing video thank you for this, however after completing all of these steps i still get a Copilot flyout from the right side of my screen on occasion...any fix for that?
Thank you very much :)
1:48 I do not have Windows Copilot between Windows Color System and Windows Defender Smart Screen.
Thank you, kind sir.
Namaste friend, could you show us how to disable mouse tooltips, when you over mouse to any objet you get a small box info like when it is on windows tart button show start in tooltips , what to disable all in windows please
Thanks so much
Thanks for guide
Thanks a million.
I refused to do the free upgrade to 11 but I am still being force-fed the copilot, so neither of the explanations work for me, typing in the gped thing only takes me to a browser search. And I don't even have that section in personalize for taskbar icons
I have done all correclty and it's not turning it off, still showing up, Any help with this?
How do you stop the Co Pilot FLYOUT from the right side of the screen?!?!? I followed these steps but it still appears??? How do i stop it
didnt think it would be this simple
Thank you, but the Copilot flyout still pops up from the right even though I have turned it off in Personalization *and* via the Group Policy editor (i.e. I "enabled" turning off Copilot).
Any ideas about how else I can get this to go away?
I got same it is still there.
thanks man
I don't have "Edit Group Policy" in my Windows 11. How to fix that?
Thank you . I hate AI and this was a blessing.
thank you. almost as annoying as them sneaking in the win10 upgrade.
Thank you SO MUCH!
so sick and tired of those Corpo trash forcing you to have their shit! is never, NEVER enough for them
anyways.. Sheers and love my man, gonna help a lot people! ♥
Thanks.
co pilot doesnt appear in my gpeditor
Thanks bruh
I have "turn win copilot off" enabled in gpedit. It still shows up in Taskbar settings. I have gone over the steps multiple times. ugh!
Same here.
Shouldn't you hit 'Disable" instead of 'Enable' as the purpose is to disable it?
Could not find GPedit, none found. And too fast to follow. Had to pause and back up too many times.
Thanks
Hi bro, can you share about your wallpaper?
great, how do i uninstall it
thanks
Where is the video you mentioned you made about removing Copilot if you have the Windows 11 Home version that doesn't have GPEDIT?
he referred to a video on installing Gpedit on W11 Home, not how to remove Copilot on it.
ua-cam.com/video/oNXykdx1yA8/v-deo.htmlsi=vSO-8m-SaRKU46rP
some one got a CMD line to remove it?
I forgot about controlling the taskbar that way. I'm used to right clicking everything.
When I had to defuck windows 10-11 I had to do similar stuff. This still isn't Windows 7
Where is the registry edit version?
Also, after enabling gpedit, the Windows Components entry does not exist.
1st step, OK. 2nd step, there is no group policy editor showing. Why is it gone and not showing up and what can I do?
I went to C:\Windows\System32 but there was not gpedit. msc file, only a .dll file with the same name. I searched the web and this doesn't appear to be normal. Any help would be appreciated.
My Mannn! Thank You. 5*'s
naah not working at all it again comes
There is no "Windows Copilot" folder in that location
Love random shit just appearing in the task bar when I boot into W11
How to disable in windows 10
I was able to disable Copilot and remove it from the Taskbar, but I'm completely unable to open the Local Policy Editor. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Of course Microsoft would make removing this crap as convoluted as possible.
obrigado amigo nao gosto muito de AI sem minha permissao o meu computador voce ajudou muito acho que nao deveria ser obrigatorio todos terem essa ferramenta BR AQUI
This does not work on Win 11
lies because when you press win+C its still there
I love having malware on my computer
Instead of ironing out inconsitencies in Windows they shove AI garbage into the OS. Good tutorial but for home users use Policy Plus.
I couldn't tell what you where doing because you %^#*&%^( up at the end by blocking the screen with other videos.
I found a much simpler method. Switch to Chrome.
Gee. I wonder why people hate Microsoft. Linux and Ubuntu, folks.
Good ridance.................Thanks
1st make a video how to enable it
for that simply update windows it's forced on you in the new rebuild...
copilot gives very wrong answers. I have 2*16 ram in my computer. When I asked how much ram I have on my computer, it said it had 8 GB RAM!
When I said you answered wrong, he shut down.
He answers every question wrong and is very, very touchy :D When he answers wrong he ends the conversation. If Terminator comes true, it will be in this infrastructure. This does not serve me, he has a cocky and spiteful nature.
doesnt need a video.. make something worth watching
Who said they wanna remove copilot?
I want to disable or remove it.
