I love that it's affordable and that they make it fresh weekly. I wish all brands did that with their vitamin c because the older it gets the less effective it can be. I have been using this product for a month now and I am totally satisfied with it. It balanced my oily skin. I haven't noticed any brightening effect yet but my skin is definitely smoother.
Sometimes vitamin c can take a while for its Brightening effects to be noticeable. It can vary from person to person, but for some it can take a couple months. Vitamin c is such an amazing ingredient!

The timing of this video is perfect! Thank you! I haven't been using Vitamin C in my skincare regimen and I've been wanting to get on board (but so many are unaffordable or I don't trust that some formulas will do any good anyway.) I already love Geek & Gorgeous because their Azalaic Acid 20% cleared up a strange case of Roseacea that had appeared as rings of red tiny bumps around my eyes. Two different prescription ointments from my dermatologist didn't do anything after months of use, but G & G cleared it up completely before I was through half of the bottle! Their prices are fantastic too!
Thanks for another great review! I adore G&G! I bought their Keep Calm Kit, specifically for the A-Pad azelaic derivative serum, but I just fell in love with everything. I user a 0.04% tretinoin micro, so trying to find products that I can use without irritating the crap out of my face is challenging. The PHA is gentle enough to use every morning to help gently encourage faster shedding of the peelies. I haven't had any irritation at all. And the cheat sheets take the confusion out of what you can mix together. I will keep this vitamin C serum on my list.
This one is really nice, perfect light texture, works great under spf, and very fresh to top it off! LOVE the apad Serum, it's helped my skin more than almost any other product.

@@silavie1378It could probably help for pigmented acne scars (in combination with spf) (so far for me I find it has helped brighten some little brown scars that were left after acne) Scars are tricky and long to fade though, I hope that helps 😀

Hi Sarah I haven't tried that product - my skin hates the low ph necessary for L ascorbic acid, but I love everything I've tried from Geek and gorgeous. The Apad is a daily staple and the Agame is what I use on my neck, when using tret for my face. Best wishes.
I think a lot of people would have differing view on that topic. Some people would advise not to use the Buffet and Vitamin C in the same routine. Some think that the vitamin c can compromise the effectiveness of the peptides. I personally will use them in the same routine, I will apply the Vitamin C first, give it a minute or two to absorb, then apply the Buffet (or peptides serum) after.
Finally I found what I was looking for, I have been 2 days watching so many videos about vitamin C serums. I was just about to buy the Obagi vitamin C 10%, but the price was to height for me to rebuy it now and then. this is a good one to start to take care of my skin. I hope my skin can take it. Skin type: ( I think my skin is dry and sensitive although some spots appear sometimes in my forehead and in my jaw. Thank so much for this video.
Thank you so much for your excellent review! :) I use squalane oil to clean my face, and then wipe off as much as possible with tissues but a small amount of the oil remains on my skin so I'm wondering if that tiny coating of oil could prevent the vitamin C serum from working? Oh thank you so much! It is possible, but if that works to cleanse your skin and you like using it I think I would keep it up. Vitamin C should mostly penetrate that small amount of oil (especially figuring that this contains vitamin e)- if not all of it *most* of it should penetrate so I don't see a reason to change that if it is working for you.

Their liquid hydration toner is also my top favourite and the list has got some more but them two are my top favourite. You should try their hydration toner as its a delight to use every day. I feel like sometimes to drench my self in it as it is so soothing.

Ooh yes, Geek and Gorgeous has become a fast favorite brand of mine, it is almost like they were in my head creating my favorite products! Cannot speak highly enough of them!
I've been meaning to do this for a long time so I'll definitely do this. Vitamin E is an interesting one because there are a few different forms of it and some are non=comedegenic while others are. It also has a tendancy to "sit" on top of skin and not fully absorb which then clogs pores a bit that way. Tocepherol tends to be comdegnic and Tocopheryl Acetate tends to non-comedengenic.
If you get a chance how about a review of the Stratia Vit C? It looks like a good formulation with a silicone base versus h2o, good %, and reasonable price.
I might recommend going with a vitamin c serum with a bit lower percentage - maybe 10% to start with and see how your skin tolerates that. Farmacy, First Aid Beauty, Vichy Vitamin C Ampoules, Timeless, and The Ordinary all have options that contains 10% or less. Might be worth starting with that and potentially working your way up to the one from Geek & Gorgeous.
They make theirs every week so it is indeed very fresh- which is wonderful. The smell you notice it totally normal. L Ascorbic Acid has a natural scent to it, some people describe it as a "hot dog" water smell, totally normal- almost metallic if that had a "scent" to it. Don't worry- it does fade away.

I love this Lascorbic acid and living just next to Hungary I have it really fresh :) Small advise: I really use decanting bottle for approximatelly 4 days application and rest of it I keep in the fridge. I never had even such bronzy colour as you have, mine is always crystal clear, even after month after opening. I really like this brand and basically most of my skincare is from them.
Someday I'll get to you're area! This stuff is so fresh- you are right- my bottle is down to the very bottom now, but my next one I'll definitely be using the decanting bottle. LOVE this brand so much!

Please include scent in your reviews. I got the Timeless Vit C and that smells so awful like metallic hotdog water. the scent is pretty strong too I could smell it in my sleep no joke! Even if it works well, I won't be buying it again.
Such a bummer- some are worse than others, this one has no real scent, barely noticeable. Have you found a vitamin c serum that worked better for you with no scent?

This does not bleach, per se, but it does help brighten skin up over time. In my opinion this is the best vitamin c serum out there- I've gone through several bottles.

You're so right, this is a prefect vitamin c for sensitive skin. Still a good amount of vitamin c but no fragrance or irritants. Always fresh, too!

You are my go to for reviews you are awesome! I have a question regarding C-glow (which I purchased) can I layer The Ordinary Buffet with the C-glow?

Hi. I love this Lascorbic acid and living just next to Hungary I have it really fresh :) Small advise: I really use decanting bottle for approximatelly 4 days application and rest of it I keep in the fridge. I never had even such bronzy colour as you have, mine is always crystal clear, even after month after opening. I really like this brand and basically most of my skincare is from them.
Someday I'll get to you're area! This stuff is so fresh- you are right- my bottle is down to the very bottom now, but my next one I'll definitely be using the decanting bottle. LOVE this brand so much!
@@NOBSBeauty I am from Slovakia, but I am living close to Hungarian borders. Definetly you should come, Budapest is in my opinion the most beautifull city in Europe! I wish G&G would come with SPF, I am still on hunt to find best one for me :) and since I am more than happy with all G&G products, I wish they would come up with SPF... and I have delivery in 1-2 days from order at home :)

Please include scent in your reviews. I got the Timeless Vit C and that smells so awful like metallic hotdog water. the scent is pretty strong too I could smell it in my sleep no joke! Even if it works well, I won't be buying it again.
Such a bummer- some are worse than others, this one has no real scent, barely noticeable. Have you found a vitamin c serum that worked better for you with no scent?

Does it bleaches
This does not bleach, per se, but it does help brighten skin up over time. In my opinion this is the best vitamin c serum out there- I've gone through several bottles.

I use this, I am on my 3rd bottle, quite nice. I hate the bottle though🤨. I loved the Timeless but I was only able to order it from the UK, and they don't have it any more.
