Dr Brenner's Vitamin C is a great serum. Made fresh every 2 weeks, just like Geek and Gorgeous
Not interested in this because Ascorbic acid constantly breaks me out.. I switched to sodium Ascorbyl phosphate and have seen the best results with PIH and acne!
I've been binge watching a few of your recent videos and definitely going to try this vit. C. I've purchased some Cosrx items in Asia and have not been terribly impressed. Yet, yep... going to do it. I LOVE GEEK and Gorgeous' Vit C and some of their other items very much, the C doesn't turn quickly at all and is great.... yet, the price looks fairly reasonable when I check out and then my bank adds a bunch of charges when I buy from them and it turns in to a very high price in my case..... so.... NOPE
would this be good for oily skin?
This vitamin C is so gentle & lightweight on skin.... I am starter and i purchased this bottle and its fresh as long you keep in fridge...

What I’ve been doing is putting a Niod pump onto MOST of my vitamin c dropper bottles. I also do have a 15ml dropper bottle that I got off Amazon in a pack of 6 that I put a little bit into every week or so then keep the big bottle in the fridge! I do have a fridge full of vitamin c 😬 trying to use it up. This cosrx is not one I’ve used yet but am tempted.

Just ordered my 2nd bottle of this- going to keep trying it for now- it lasted in the fridge and I didn't have any issues, but will likely go back to Dr. Brenner. Thanks for the reviews of this!

@@NOBSBeauty just discovered and have to share- thought I would love to hear Sarah’s no bs on this bamboozlement! there is only .7 ounce in this big bottle of Cosrx vitamin c! So It will go much faster than dr brenner’s full ounce bottle! Was wondering why that first bottle went so fast! That is a lot of air in there! So cost wise this is not worth it! I like it but still going to stay in the vitamin c market looking for a deal!
How long did it last in The fridge for you? Was the color change drastic as the weeks went by?
Why specifically Dr. Brenner's? I'm just curious. I've tried many, love Geek and Gorgeous from Hungary, but the added fees to order things is not worth it.

How long does it last you until it turns golden yellow? Do you keep it in the fridge
@@CriscianaLovely I keep it in the fridge at all times. It comes with a slight yellow/green color. I have message COSRX about this and they assured me that this is the color. I have never had an issue with it. Since this comment I'm on my 6th bottle. I absolutely adore this Vitamin C

The yellow color in vitamin c serums dont bother me. I think people dont realize that there are a whole other bunch of ingredients in these serums as well, that are dark brown/deep golden in color. For example, Vitamin E is a naturally very deep brown color so its always going to add color to any serum

is a regular food fridge to cold for skincare? 😊
No, that will work just fine. My skin care fridge went out over a year ago so I started putting my retinol and other little things in the regular fridge and have had no issues whatsoever. I would just be cautious to not have your fridge set to cold and don’t put them in the colder areas of your refrigerator. I put mine in the door. I think if I put them in the back upper part of my fridge they would possibly freeze because sometimes other liquids can in that area.
I used their old version but I didn’t see any result so I guess this is why it was discontinued. I don’t think this one will work better because like the old version this one doesn’t contain ferulic acid which is crucial to make an effective vitamin c that works and is stable.
The bottle is so black I cant even see how much I have used and how much is left 😅😅

I'll give it to Naturium they packaged their Vit C in an airless pump and porcelain glass, no air or light gets in.
I wish all brands would do that. It is so disappointing to spend so much money on a vitamin c serum and have it degrade from the second you start to use it.

Dont you find this vitc was super yellow? Mine is a recent buy and it was as same as yellow as your
Vitamin c serums that are yellow doesnt mean they oxidized. This product has 20 other ingredients in it, some have deep brown color to it.
Vitamin E for example is a deep golden brown color. It turns serums golden in color
Have you heard of Reviv and or Photozyme? Reviv is a dupe for ? Skin medica TNS treatment. It’s a stem cell growth serum. Photozyme is a DNA RePair. Would love to see your thoughts and reviews on these. Well; with Reviv; it’s be almost 1month since I ordered it and has yet to ship out. They say 14-22 business days before shipment.
I am really disappointed in that. I’ve been using Timeless 20% Vit C and just not impressed with it after using for sev months. So, I purchased the Photozyme Vit C with DNA Repair in it. But like you; I do not care at all for dropper bottle pkg. thank you for your reviews

Is the serum supposed to smell a bit strange?
It is normal- asorbic acid has a bit of a smell to it- a lot of people say it smells like hot dogs, some describe it as a bit of a metal smell.
Does it contain L-Ascorbic acid?
Yes, it actually contains both L Ascorbic Acid and Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, My guess would be 13% LAA and 10% EAA.
@@NOBSBeauty You are likely right, I feel it's not 23% LAA. I need someone to make 20% LAA for Europe. G an G is great but I need 20% for my hyperpigmentation, below that it's not as effective. Timeless is not available in Europe, really miss it.
I’d think Vit C serums would smell like orange juice, but no, just that icky smell that hopefully doesn’t linger . . .
