But the changes in sleep, strength, mental clarity and (oddly enough) mental health have been too awesome to give up. Plus, it sure makes grocery shopping easy!

I do just go completely off plan on occasion but I’m immediately right back on plan the next day. I feel better at almost 50 than I did at 35.
Started keto for similar reasons. It’s been 2 years now and at 41 I feel great and have increased my discipline in other facets of my life. Got my subscription despite the dodo deposit visual.

I had a serious head injury over 20 years ago and learned that protein is necessary for optimal brain function. Eating eggs in the morning probably prevented your morning "fog", but you probably just needed some at lunch to cover your afternoons. They informed me that caffeine can stimulate your brain but is inadequate nutrition for optimal function!
One thing I recommend you do is to get regular bloodwork as in, every 4-6 months. Carnivore and keto (or any diet) can work great for some, but absolutely wreck other folks in terms of their health markers. An example - I know some individuals who went strict keto and their A1C actually got worse. Also, I bid you luck now that you've likely woken the diet zealots - expect to hit the 'mute from channel' button quite a bit 😂
I'm on day 5 of cold water exposure. For now I just been doing it in the shower until I get a tank. Tonight was 4 minutes all the way cold 1 minute on each side of my body. I have also got some collagen peptides to help with my joints, protein powder for the morning instead of eating a muffin or something on my way to work. Been waiting 1.5 hours before ingesting caffeine in the morn. And then also got some cortisol blockers . Just trying to be healthier with small steps. 6 years ago I was in insane shape working out everyday and running 3 days a week. Only ate chicken fish and beef with 1 cheat meal a week. Not going that crazy because one thing I know is of you try changing everything drastically at once you usually fail and fail hard. I plan on splitting all my firewood with an axe this summer in preparation for next winter also.. like I said just trying to make small changes and stay consistent and keep improving .

It’s legit. Went keto then carnivore starting in 2016, lost right at 100lbs. Kids, covid and gluttony has put a few lbs back on me but I got back on track in December and doing pretty good. I’ll freely admit it’s harder when 5 other people in the house want junk but I’m doing ok. Happy to see others finding success, health and a feeling of being well.
It’s been slow since I haven’t been posting much. I need to kick it back up. I’ll make an update video about it. It kind of feels like I’m wasting my time for the $$ it brings in.

Its funny... 3 years ago i had over 100 chickens and was getting 6 dozen eggs a day in my laying boxes. Thats not counting all the eggs they were laying in the fields and bushes. I couldnt give those eggs away. Now i could sell the crap out of them!!
I needed this... Im gonna do the carnivore diet. It should be easy for me as thats the biggest majority of my diet. I just have to cut out the pizza and carbs. I love mac and cheese LOL Lets do this!! so its 100% meat all the time , no vegetables?

I put info in “my fitness pal” to track calories but what I found is I had no issue eating 3000 calories a day of fast food but eating 3000 calories of meat was damn hard. 6 eggs 500 calories etc etc

You made it way longer on the carnivore than I did. The cravings got to me on day 5.
When you start carnivore you need higher fat intake it's what the body uses for energy. I have lost 30kg so far

I haven’t. Concerned me as well which was why I wanted it to be a shorter term plan.
I did a 3 month straight carnivore only (no cheats) & got my blood works done. My Dr was impressed everything was within normal levels.
