From there onwards, I'm onboard. As a remix for a parkour time-trial, this is cool. However, Ezio's Family itself needs a more serious/dramatic treatment imo

I can't explain this any other way other than; this sounds like if Woody Jackson and the folks behind RDR's OST handled Ezio's Family. And at first, I was honestly taken aback by it. But after listening to it all the way through, I can't help but adore it. It's like a perfect blend of spaghetti western & samurai cinema music. Very unique rendition of this motif and it might end up becoming one of my favs!

I was just thinking Red Dead too! This song sounds insane, so different than what I would have expected. A regular Japanese orchestral version would have been okay but I would have expected it. This is something so unique, I love it

I also recognized that the song contains a lot of Western Soundeffects and that in some parts the song feels like a Western Theme

Why? We've had the classic enough, it's better when they have their own themes anyway.
Think about it this way, a lot of old westerns draw from Kurosawa films, so the style of Ezio’s Family still works.
It's cool that there is a bit of Venice Rooftops in there too.
This has more of a Wild West feel…not sure if it fits the setting. Or maybe it does and I’m just looking for a more somber, sweeping track rather than the spy movie-esque tone of this version. It’s not my favourite version of this iconic track.

Now I need Assassin's Creed India too. A full fledged AAA title. After Japan. Set the game in 1600s, there was a great guy named Chhatrapati Shivaji who wanted a free society. In real life he used an amaxing weapon to kill a person. His tactics were totally assassin like. He always believed in stealth.
This one is a bit more of an acquired taste but it’s not bad. It’s not what I was expecting, but it’s not bad

Expect the unexpected when it comes to Japan. Almost never done it the traditional way. The fact that Japan can turn something as slow and as mellow as Ezio's Family and speed it up in ways like this is nothing short of an achievement 😂

My cope for this is treating it as a remix for Venice Rooftops, i.e. a time-trial track. Fingers crossed there's a more orchestral version of the iconic theme in the game, might be relegated to menu music like the RPG trilogy tho...
Whilst it doesn't necessarily fit the games atmosphere, it certainly works as a new rendition of Ezios Family

Even though I dislike the fact we have Ezio's family every new entry (as the franchise theme) this one is really amazing. It started to grow with me, gives me more action/epic tones instead of previous arrangements where they wanted to replicate the mythical vibes the original one had. Also, the Japanese lyrics and the Venice Roftoop part were a very nice touch that I loved.
This one is the worst. The Odyssey and Valhalla Ezio Family versions are WAAAAYYYY better.

Little bit of venice rooftops is super nice but unlike Ezio’s family for origin, mirage and valhalla, it has less culture specific vibes; the one in trailer was better i think

I was hoping for something different, but this is not bad. I'm still waiting for a full version of the ezio's family we heard at the end of the trailer. This one here sounds more like an American western AC than a Japanese one
For me this theme only makes sense if they give importance to the present day again, with a playable part where this would sound.
This is by far the worst version of Ezio's Family. Seriously, Ubisoft made mistakes in games but they never made mistakes in this not even in Valhalla which is by far the worst in the franchise.

Great and i hope there ll be memory corridors, ac mirage felt too few and after playing origins and valhalla i kinda hope more. Odessey cult quotes are great but when no memory corridors felt something missing
spaghetti western + japan = cool. But the Ubisoft studio could not handle the game direction that would be fit for this kind of music. It requires a skillful and creative team. And the latest assassin's are just big chunks of burgers which doesn't have any substance in them

They re literally realesing difrent theme each year, ezio family is only a kneel to tradition of series
They do have a new theme for each game though. Origins, Odyssey, Valhalla and Mirage all have their own main themes. The Ezio's Family cover is usually reserved for the pause/inventory menu (like in Origins and Odyssey), or for a specific part of the game (mostly the credits).
I personally love that each game pays homage to the tune that started it all. I feel like "Ezio's Family" refers to the Assassins as a whole, just as much as it does his literal family. Some people may just see it as a nostalgia thing, but I think it's the composers paying respect, and I like that a lot.
Imagine a jurassic park movie and star wars movie without the iconic themes
Ezio's family refers to the Assassin's Creed itself. Any Assassin who stayed true to the Creed, and worked and sacrificed for the goal of Freedom, Liberty and Peace is a member of that family.
From Altair, Ezio, Edward, Connor, Shao Jun, Arbaaz Mir, Bayek of Siwa, Aya of Alexandria, Aveline de Grandpre, Adewale, Arno, Aguilar, the Frye Twins, Jayadeep Mir to Desmond Miles, Shawn Green, Rebecca Crane and William Miles - the Creed lives on.
