In peak there are different series of bags that were released which were best according to you.
The hiking in other countries are harder than in India. Worth every penny. I am really surprised there are not much quality hike backpacks choices in India.
You guys are telling that dragging ( ghistey ghistey) the premium branded bags in Indian terrain is not recommended. Purposely hardly anyone would like their bag to get damaged and such problems should not arise at all in first place because e.g. rock patches tend to have difficult terrain in India as well as worldwide. There should be a bare minimum threshold for bag quality irrespective of country as nature is same everywhere. Hope you understand what I want to say or forgive me if i have misunderstood your message.
Umm no.. sort of right... The thing is that, we have lead a lot of treks.. there a big difference in the way a participant uses the products, and the way leaders use the products.. our use is much much more harsh in nature.. and that's how these bags were tested.. we earn our bread butter with this, so we have to invest in the best.. so just in case if any person would like to shift from an occasional trekker to a hard core trekker, these things definately matter.. so the information i tell, is sort of for the investment.. But yes.. people usually don't drag their bags 😀.. we had to drag them at some life threatening rock patches.. and hence the study :)
Hi. I also wanna buy the last bag you've showed. Actually I'm looking for my first trek bag. And I want that to be extremely durable and waterproof. Can you please suggest me some rucksacks in between 2-5k ? 😊
Those shops outside or inside an army camp, they've got sone rucksacks... One is the standard issue grade and other is a civillian grade. Prices 2700 and 1450 respectively. Capacity is 100L. Please review them.
Both those models are good for a limited use.. the civilian grade sack is not comfortable at all though.. there is less padding and the strap adjustability gets rusted or broken.. though I'm not sure if they have updated the model recently..
Hi. I'm 6 feet tall and planning to buy a Tripole Colonel 95 liter backpack. Is it a good buy? Primary use for cross country travel by trains and buses and maybe for foreign travel
Hi pls suggest me rucksack bag, which is good and safe for air travel, like suitcase bags are more safe becouse they have lock system. Rucksack bags are like opposite of that, it hase many chains and clip lock which can easily open by anyone.
Hey.. usually all trekking sack are made in that way only.. for ease of use.. and they basically Nylon, so even if you use locks, anyone can just tear it apart with a knife.. And air travel is usually safe only.. Train travel is the place where you need to worry 😬.. but no.. nothing as safe as a hard top bag in trekking bags..
Buy these brands only from Adventure Equipment physical shops.. not online at all.. can't trust online at all.. I faced this issue with Salomon too....
Hello Can you suggest me rucksack bag which is good quality and can be used for 8 to 10 days journey? My budget is under 2000. Which brand is good? How much ltr i have to buy? can you guide me?
Rule No. 1 to get rich: if you want a product/service for more than 2 days, and you're willing to spend 2k for it, then spend 3.5k and turn it into an asset and use it for 10 years. Under 2k, you'll only find Army bags worth the price.. there local army shops in Cantonment areas.. check them out..
Hi @captain parbat, nice video, its really helpfull. After watching your video i decided to buy peak ruckshak, but its out of my budget.so can you please suggest me a good ruchshak under 2500 or 3000.
Hey, see it depends on your requirements finally.. if you need the bag for only 2 or 3 long treks and a couple of weekend hikes, then you can go for tripole also . Cliffclimbers is again good. But honestly I believe in always investing, rather than spending. Peak bags are an investment.
Asli barish me kuch waterproofing nahi chalta.. rainfly use karna bas.. and height doesn't matter bro.. size of bag depends on how long your expedition is and how much stuff you need to carry.. 50 ltr bags usually work for 2 day to 10 day treks..

And yes, 65 litre sacks are usually more than enough.. for me, my 50 litre sack has always been enough... Why don't you check the size in a store/shop first, and then buy it online...
Under 1000 you'll get small day sacks only.. not the big ones.. always invest in quality products, because in difficult and emergency situations, they serve really well..
That is the wrong way to take a rucksack because when it's loaded with 20-25 kg material, you'll break your wrist if you try to twist and the bag too will tear from the strap. Secondly you don't know about material first learn then compare weight of the bag. Don't misguide beginners.
You try it once.. without the jerk for the upward thrust, it's very difficulty to pick the bag up.. the strap definitely does not tear.. 2ndly, I know the materials, which is why I could know the science behind the weight.. C'mon man, if I go in too much details, people will lose interest in the video.. I had to just tell the important parts..
Useless misguiding reviews. What does this guy means by "not suitable for Indian terrains" ? Which category is Himalaya High Altitude terrain? Does he means Deuter is not suitable for worlds most popular high altitudes Himalayan treks like Everest base camp etc. Deuter comes with lifetime warrenty (and they genuinely follow that) and that's because these bags lasts for lifetime. And what is "ghiste ghiste le jana" of rucksuck😂, who drags their backpack through grounds😂? Nothing is mentioned about fabric density (denier) that's most important for longevity, quality and importance about internal frames, strap adjustment features that distributes the weights properly on hips, and quality and breathability of paddings, which is most important for long hikes, and the quality of zippers and straps(one fail of which will ruin the trek). What's highlighted is compartments, which is least important. Also misguided about rucksucks water resistance. There's no rucksack in world that's water resistant, that's why we need raincover separately.

@captain parbat On basis of budget and durability and material used which of these provides best backpacks for trekking(according to the rugged Indian standard), peak vs cliff climber vs quechua. I've used quechua bags and they are good. I don't know much about the other other 2 so I'd like to know. Suggestions and reviews will be appreciated
Peak wins.. I have bought my 50 ltr peak sack in 2008 for 900 bucks. .. 11 years later and harsh conditions of 300 treks later, I am still using it.. The shape of peak bags is so perfect.. other brands make longer bags, peak makes wider bags.. though the difference is only marginal, it's of great use. I have carried cylinders and vessels required to cook meals for 30-35 people on treks.. I could not do that in the 50 ltr sack of Quechua or Wildcraft. Don't buy Wildcraft.
Captain Parbat I live in Delhi so is there a way of checking the bags before buying them? I'm not a big fan of online order of backpacks but peak doesn't sell online. So any way?

So any way?
I haven't seen a faulty peak sack till now.. you directly call the owner/manufacturer of the sacks and tell him to courier it to you..
Google "Gypsy Tents Bhavani Peth Pune".. you'll find his number. His name is Mr. Mufi.
Captain Parbat thanks
@@CaptainParbat You mentioned that leak are available online in gypsytents, but there is no option for this. Can you please provide the link for buying it online?
The info was good bt the presentation was worst..your mike...next time show some seriousness
I lost the bush of the mic that time unfortunately.. and i had the bags only for some hours.. so had to record it on the phone mic only..
The videos are well researched and only words of experience are spoken here.. i can assure you that.
The mic problem is solved now as i bought a new mic.
