It's worth noting that in the end times (boo hiss) the Ogres had become so prosperous under Greasus (who had figured out the best way to thrive was to tax and 'protect' the silk road caravans travelling near the mountains) that they were actually starting to develop a population surplus that would necessitate them expanding further west. Had end times not happened, the Ogres would have started to begin pushing west into the darklands and even the badlands
@@bolikde9389 not really they already did it to an extent, a tribe of humans would raise animals for them but the entire tribe knew how to create booze. Cant wait to not preorder the game because I dont have a computer, and then never get the Ogors because this is a preorder bonus, and then for them to be patched into the base game anyways like 5 years later. Love the lore, as always
Humongously obese Greasus carried by farmished tiny Gnoblars. Poor Gnoblars. Grimgor Ironhide may have a new campaign in TW : Warhammer 3, to save his distant Greenskin kins the Gnoblars from Ogre tyranny.
Good to hear you're back. I hope you'll make some more videos of the more lore friendly new armies and characters in TWW3 because frankly you are great at what you do for us. I basically know everything about the Asrai thanks to you.
I kinda want playable sky titans even lf they are dead lorewise or a plotteust were theg actually survived and take on a conquest of taking back their homeland in the high peaks their rivalry with the orcs would be amazing
Ogres not only can sink, are bottomless pits, and smell awful. But they are also smart and Deceptively quick on their feet. Even if their tactics are simple. The fact that one was created. Just tells you....run away.
warhammer came out in 1983...and it is seriously brilliant now...after all these years and with the total war games it has really taken off big time...decades of lore building and now it is better than lotr or any of fantasy world...I can't wait for the marvel like movie arcs theyll do in the future with this..cuz you know its coming
Thank you for a new lore videos my man, you make it so instead of closing my eyes staring into darkness. For 1 hour and still not falling asleep at least a bit enjoyable. Keep up your awesome work chéers from sweden
So... Let me get this straight. Greasus was smiling at the waaghboss, which means he is going to consume him, right? Then he squeezes him and doesn‘t eat him. Isn‘t that a contradiction?
The only problem I have is Ork Warbosses are generally HUGE!!! Like WAAY bigger than a Ogre! A general Ork Warboss is like around 20 something feet tall... This is however a Black Ork Warboss which are PHENOMENALLY larger than youre basic Ork. So more akin to 30-40 feet tall. So prey-tell how did some in comparison tiny 10-15 feet tall ogre lift and squeeze a GIGANTIC BLACK ORK WARBOSS😀😆😂🤣..... The writters sometimes make the largest plotholes to make a popular character look "cool".... Let's be real. Unless Greasus was fighting with his mace/sceptar. He wouldn't stand a hells chance hand to hand against a mini giant Black Ork Warboss!!I Orks sole purpose are to fight and get bigger. They are literally bioligical weapons created to fight wars and kill... Ork Warbosses somtimes get misktaken for giant statues because they are so enormous for crying out loud😞😓
Maybe you confuse WH fantasy orks with 40k ones. Although their Warboss is large, they aren't as large as you claim to be, even Grimgor isn't as big as you claim as you can see in total war games(I personally think he is 8-10ft) and he is the biggest, meanest, and fightiest black ork out there, and Ogre tyrants is much more larger than that. If anything, War bosses should be around the size of a regular Ogre.
@@rikkikarrylmabayo2504 Is there a difference in size for WH 40k and WH Fantasy??? I didn't know that. I always thought Orks are Orks. Why are there different sizes? Well I suppose now that makes sense why WH Fantasy Ork characters aren't as big as I always imagined... I always thought CA devs just messed up when it came to Orks
@@klaiken989 yep, for one they aren't bread or genetically altered by the old ones in this setting. Plus, I believe they go as "orcs" as oppose to "orks" in 40k. They are more in line with mainstream orcs.

Dude thats some Macciavelli thinking if you are an Ogre.

I think i ve seen a cosplay of this guy down at any Wall mart , Florida.
I just love that one of his titles is "the shockingly obese"
The fact that he has that means he fat even by ogre standards!
I did a 0.3 second scream when I saw this in my feed. I LOVE your lore vids bro
Anybody can make a video about lore, only the inept general can make it feel like a story told round a fire
Man he should put fire/fireplace audio in the background!
Glad you're back for more warhammer lore !

I think a dead body on the map is better because of how big the are
You're telling me an Ork Warboss with an Axe, who could likely cut trees in a swing, had no effect on some fat arms
Yes fatty and muscular arms
I'm a 40K guy so I don't know any of these characters so it's nice getting a background of these things.
I was waiting for this, welcome back!
This is better than hearing the ice cream truck on Sundays!

Inept, could you do some of the old hammer stories and figures? They are soooo entertaining, like how the gnomes and dwarves used to have a thing.
