I will never forgive CA for not implementing his healing aura also healing the nearby enemies but giving them the flammable trait, that was like THE thing about him
In the Kinslayer novel. Helbrass' Touch of Life was literally deadly to the undead. Vlad von Carstein had to wear magically protecive armor and sucked dry four strong men before engaging Helbrass in battle. And while Vlad held the upper hand at the start forcing Aekedor to full defense mode, Touch of Life eventually began pierce through magical barrier of von Castein's. Smoke started to appear from the joins of the Vampire's armor and his movements became slower and slower, giving Helbrass an opportunity to go on the offense. Eventually Vlad was so weak that he had to turn into swarm of bats and flee from Aekedor's presence. His downfall was most interesting though. He engaged in combat with Felix Jaeger. And was overjoyed to fight someone who had a destiny. But was bemused when Jaeger was defending Vampire Ulrika Magdova his former lover back in her human days. She also began to suffer from Touch of Life. Her pale skin turned pitch black, her eyes became milky white and her lips were gone and her jaw showed sharp white teeth. Helbrass scolded Jaeger, telling him that she was death, a stagnation while he was life and change. The battle was taking place in a former Kislevite village, now annexed by the Empire, behind Auric Bastion which Helbrass has eroded away, by sending vines and mold to deal with it. The very building they made their stand was an armory and a gunpowder storehouse. By that time Helbrass was able to also control Flames of Tzeentch and used them as magical projectiles. When Felix Jaeger mocked Aekedor, telling him that Men do not change like that, Helbrass teleported into the middle of the room and began spreading his flames, showing Felix multiple possible futures in order to convince him that Men do change. Jaeger was entranced by all the visions he saw in the flames. But one of them woke him up. It was a vision of immediate future, where fires spread by Helbrass would eat away the wooden floor they were standing in and ignite the powder along with all other explosives below them. Felix grabbed Ulrika and threw her out of the window, which he later jumped out of himself. Helbrass who was just as entranced by the flames as Jaeger was, did not snap out of his innuendo fast enough and the floor literally exploded underneath him. Hundreds of fragments and shrapnels tore through his body in an instant, making it a ruin, to the point where even the Touch of Life wasn't potent enough to heal him fast enough. And then the reminder of the floor and the entire building collapsed onto him, turning him into a bloody stain. When Felix returned to examine the damage, he could barely recognize Helbrass' remains, that's how little of him was left.
I like that Aekold bucks the trend of your typical servant of Tzeentch. Where he represents the aspects of hope and growth while also primarily being a warrior that builds his allies up. Rather than Tzeentch's typical scheming mage who views their underlings as pawns.
No haven't done him yet but he's on the to do list may wait until GW releases an Empire Old World book as I'm sure he will be getting a whole bunch more lore.
When you started to describe who Aekold was, I almost believed he woke up one day, chose violence, and left everything on the fly to become a Chaos Champion. X) _(F$ck bitches, become a Chaos warrior.)_ 😂

Badass.
It's funny how the fight against chaos always feeds the chaos fire
Aekold is such a cool, unique character in Warhammer. I shouldn't be surprised his lore is the same
Damn one of the first videos I watch of your’s. AMAZING! And damn I can’t help but feel sorry for the dude and his horse. DAMN YOU CHAOS

So cool dude keep it up
Thought his armor had special effects as well
how aware was aekold that the group he joined was actually a chaos cult?
I think it would have been a willful ignorance cause he felt they were making a positive change and he didn't want to question their rituals too much.
Dark paladin?
Aekold gets it.
