70 years old and just started buying silver. One of my grandchildren is interested in coins and that's what got me interested. Purchased a 1 ounce silver bar for each grandchildren for Christmas along with some cash. Going to get a silver coin for them in the year they were born. Thanks for the beginners lesson.
I am just starting out also and plan to do the same with my grandkids! Learning as I go too. Not to mention it’s a lot easier than trying to figure out what to get them anymore and hopefully be an investment as ap posed to junk piled up in the garage in a month! 😉
@@followerofchrist4064 I feel much better giving them each a 1 oz silver bar than to drop a $20 in each card and the silver yields far fewer grandpa jokes than does the $20.
I just started my journey with collecting silver 5 years ago. I plan to accumulate more silver with time. Your videos certainly help me go in the right direction.
I began stacking silver a few years ago. My plan is to accumulate enough silver to upgrade to gold and to accumulate enough silver to diversify into large sizes as well.
I started to accumulate junk silver coins as a kid but didn’t go further into it. Thankfully now I’m getting back into it but from a much better understanding. Thanks for your video!
The wife and I started to accumulate some silver last year. We learning because of channels like this. We feel that paper money is losing its value. Thanks for the guidance!
I've started to ACCUMULATE silver for my children and got them each a 10 ounce bar for Christmas. Your video was quite informative, and I appreciate it!
NO! It was not worth a penny more. RATHER, the value of the agent manipulated currencies changed so that, for example, the number of Federal Reserve Notes [FRN's] you had to spend to buy it changed (was manipulated).
I just started stacking a few months ago. I try to accumulate about 1 oz of silver every week, depending on my financial situation. Thank you for sharing this valuable information.
I hope to accumulate as much silver as possible before the prices start going high. Oddly enough I had never saved any money. Never had any savings. But since I started saving gold and silver, I actually have close to $1,500 in savings that I would have never had before.
Amazing! I don't personally view my precious metals as an 'investment'-- but what an amazing savings mechanism! Congratulations on building your wealth
Just started to accumulate some silver this year and my stack is small but learning every step of the way because of channels like this. Thanks for the beginners guidance!
Accumulate first time watching your channel. Just trying to get a little bit of education on the market. Looking forward to hearing more information on how to invest or sell.
I just found your site tonight. It's the only site I've found with good info on the types of silver not to buy. I want to accumulate silver that will be useful in trading, selling.... I now have a clearer picture of what will be useful to have in the long run. Thanks alot
Hello, I have been stacking and not even knowing it was called stacking. Over the past 2 years I have been able to ACCUMULATE over 300 ounces in 1 oz. rounds and 10 oz. bars. Also, smaller ones also. 1 gram, 10 grams rounds, 1 quarter and 1 half rounds. Most are 1 oz rounds. Thank you so much for all the information you give.
That is amazing!!!! Congratulations on starting your stacking journey! In my opinion, I think you should avoid fractional silver bullion (e.g., 1/2 oz rounds). The premiums are just so high! Better to buy some 90% constitutional silver and use that for the fractionality. Thanks for sharing Margie and good luck with whatever you decide for yourself
I'm completely new to the hobby/interest of 'stacking' (an entirely new term for me). About a month ago, while sorting through my late husband's belongings I came across a couple of containers of coins, many of them silver. I surmised that most of these came from his grandfather who left him an accumulation, years ago. Now, I find myself going down a rabbit hole every time I look at them - there's so much to learn. Thankfully, some of the coins are saved in rolls of like coins so I don't lose track, but as I said, I've got a lot to learn. Thanks so much for your channel. New subscriber, here!
Accumulate, I started 3 year's ago, learned to stop getting thing's I didn't need ,and to cut back on many thing's, I can tell you it work's I have done very good, proud of myself. Everyone keep on stacking, love to all.
This was exactly my strategy. So happy I started doing this. One would be surprised how much they can save by simply cutting out buying the things you do not absolutely need. It amazing how much money we are basically taught to waste on things we do not need.
Wow! Depending on your budget, 100 oz might be a lot or a little... one great piece of advice is to "dollar cost average" your way into stacking! Slow and steady, there's no rush in this game!
I bought that 100oz as a beginner. I use it as a learning tool. I’ve learned so much. Sorry this is my opinion but most LCS’s are rip offs. Look online everyday and find sales. They’ll put it on your doorstep for cheaper. Plus you don’t have to drive around and be treated poorly by owners who are mad they can’t take advantage of you trying to accumulate more weight
I think there's just SOOO much variability in LCS that it's hard to give blanket advice on that front. Online dealers are a little easier, but you might miss some clutch opportunities and it's certainly harder to sell to them. Thanks for sharing your experience with the Accumulation Nation! We've all made some mistakes along the way- best to treat them as learning experiences
@@SilverForeverX I can’t make a blanket statement. That’s why I didn’t. In my experience. LCS’s are rude crotchety old men who get pissed when you point out that you know they are ripping you off
depends totally on the LCS. One close to me beats any online price and is nice as pie. I can drive 2 miles and get a cheaper haul without waitingon shipping
I have a variety of world silver coins, which I was able to purchase over the years at spot. I decided it was time to thin the collection, so I took out all the coins that were worn or duplicates and organized them in ziplock bags by silver fineness. The local silver melter, weighed them, calculated the ASW and paid 95% of spot for the lot. This provided a nice profit of 40% after the silver costs were converted to 2023 dollars using the CPI. Converting costs to current money is important to get a realistic account of profit.
The lower cost of silver has most normal folks like myself accumulate semi large quantities over time. Hopefully we all stack long enough to cash in on the increases. I remember when silver was around 3-4 bucks and gold was a few hundred.
I started buying silverplated items to strip and melt down the metal into bars and now I am starting to stack silver and hope to ACCUMULATE even more after subscribing to your channel.
I am trying to accumulate as much knowledge about slacking and how to avoid the big mistakes. This video has been a great source to start. Thanks for all you do for the community.
Stack for a long term Investment. Cash will always use inflation and be reduced In value. Precious metals will always Increase in value so selling for cash is essentially a major loss in my eyes. I'd rather stack for the next 80 years, hopefully and when I die I leave that treasure to my kids and their kids. Even make a few treasure chests and draw a few maps out to give them adventure.
I started to accumulate silver during the pandemic. I wish I had started earlier because of everything that is happening now. Thanks for the info on what to purchase and the reason why.
I started collecting old coins when I was 15 years old, and now in my fifties. I still have that drive to ACCUMULATE as much as I can find, it's becoming harder to do these days. New to the channel and I enjoy the content.
@@SilverForeverX thank you sir, it's the intrinsic value that keeps me going. I can honestly testify, as to how the coins hedge against inflation and it's a long term plan to see it through. With premiums like they are today, it would be ten years minimum before you can recover from them. Stay the course to accumulate as much as possible and good luck to you.
Investing in silver and gold is straightforward, and both are known for their stability during economic downturns. However, the real challenge lies in growing a portfolio through stocks, dividends, and even cryptocurrencies. I've been working to increase my $190K portfolio, but my main difficulty is pinpointing the best entry and exit strategies. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
A diversified portfolio is crucial. Consider expanding into different market sectors to ensure a balanced approach and minimize potential losses. Additionally, partnering with a financial advisor can provide the guidance needed to navigate complex markets.
I completely agree. I handed over my daily investment decisions to an advisor after experiencing significant losses in late 2019, during the COVID-19 outbreak. Today, I'm semi-retired, just 25% shy of reaching my $1 million retirement goal, thanks to strategic investments since then.
Reaching one major milestone makes the next one more attainable. Would you mind sharing the contact details of your investment advisor? I'm looking for proper asset allocation advice to optimize my portfolio by the end of the year. Your help would be much appreciated!

There's a huge difference between stacking and collecting. I stack whatever is cheapest at the time. I do occasionally find awesome deals where the semi-nus ARE the best deal, and then, I purchase them instead. Otherwise buy the cheapest you can (reliably) acquire. Stay away from silver shot, paper silver (futures) and silver coated notes.
I bought so many rolls of silver eagles in the 90’s that I was having storage problems. I recently sold about a third of them at $10.50 above spot..to a dealer! I turned around and bought other verified silver rounds at $4 over spot and increased my holdings.
Your post is a ringing endorsement for " junk " silver. It is recognizable and trusted by even the most jaded and wary of skeptics ........ THE DEALERS!
For some reason as a kid and the Western shows we watched...I fell in love with the Indian and the Buffalo shows. I started to ACCUMULATE the 10 Oz Buffalo and Indian and buy nothing else, the look the feel and the time takes me back to my childhood, my family, and all the love we had.My PARENTS worked hard to give us what they different have. But sitting down with my DAD and watching a good old cowboy and Indian movie...it's like holding that bar in my hand...takes me back in TIME.

Miles Doyle, that was long winded if your preaching is for salvation, if you can't dazzle an audience in brilliance, you will baffle them with bull pie. No where in your wordage do you say Jesus does not condone the accumulation of silver, and with that same wordage you do not offer someone in need of salvation how to recieve it- kinda got lost in the bull pie and no mention on the accumulation of silver. What are you trying to accumulate because accumulating brownie points, if thats what you are trying to do, won't buy you a place in heaven.

This channel is all about trying to help our fellow stackers avoid mistakes in the early stages of stacking! I think most of us have made some questionable decisions along the way, or at least have changed strategies. At the end of the day, we still have physical precious metals and that puts us in the top 5% !

I grew to a 7 figure well-diversified portfolio. These are very valuable rules for anybody who wants to get rich. Unfortunately, most people who will watch this video will not really be able to apply the principles. We may not want to admit, but as Warren Buffett once said, investing is like any other profession-- it requires a certain level of expertise. No surprise that some people are losing a lot of money in the bear market, while others are making hundreds of thousands in profit. I just don't know how they do it. I have about $89k now to put in the market.
Understanding personal finances and investing will most likely lead to greater financial independence. By being knowledgeable about money and investing, individuals can make informed decisions about how to save, spend, and invest their money. I know someone who made over $350k in this recession influenced market, but to the best of my knowledge, it was through a financial advisor.
@@hunter-bourke21 Yeah, financial advisors could make a lot of difference, particularly in a market such as this. Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are a lot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look. I'm doing more research now so I can hopefully make smart decisions in a time when our world is presenting us with many deceptions and challanges. Thank you for sharing this info.
I would consider 10 oz bars over 5 oz bars. Most dealers will have free shipping for purchases over $200, and 10 oz bars will typically have a lower premium than 5 oz bars. Also, 10 oz bars are just more popular so they might be easier to sell. At the same time, 5 oz bars might be nicer if you want to sell a smaller part of your stack. Your call!

Just began my journey to accumulate 100 ounces of silver and 5 ounces of gold. Getting close to half-way. Mahalos for your jurisprudence and guidance

ACCUMULATE
I started to accumulate gold coins when I was 12 years old and was amazed that after about 15 years, it was worth so much more!
I'm doin' the same thing!
Good plan. It all adds up after a while.
Welcome to the club! That's how most of us started! Do you have a favorite of anything yet?
I hope to accumulate as much silver as possible before the prices start going high. Oddly enough I had never saved any money. Never had any savings. But since I started saving gold and silver, I actually have close to $1,500 in savings that I would have never had before.
Amazing! I don't personally view my precious metals as an 'investment'-- but what an amazing savings mechanism! Congratulations on building your wealth

Welcome to the Accumulation Nation!
I'm a beginner. I'm here to learn more about how to ACCUMULATE silver.
Just started and will accumulate 100 oz this weekend! It's been an overall great experience! Great subject matter, glad I found your channel!
Wow! Depending on your budget, 100 oz might be a lot or a little... one great piece of advice is to "dollar cost average" your way into stacking! Slow and steady, there's no rush in this game!
Go big or go home.......
The bulls get bullish and the bears get bearish but the hogs get slaughtered!
LCS’s are rude crotchety old men who get pissed when you point out that you know they are ripping you off
True. I just went to mine yesterday and he was selling constitutional silver for 25x face
depends totally on the LCS. One close to me beats any online price and is nice as pie. I can drive 2 miles and get a cheaper haul without waitingon shipping
I agree but when you factor shipping it might be just as bad
learning a lot from you, now starting to accumulate all the knowledge I can to preserve the wealth of my family's future.
Accumulate
The lower cost of silver has most normal folks like myself accumulate semi large quantities over time. Hopefully we all stack long enough to cash in on the increases. I remember when silver was around 3-4 bucks and gold was a few hundred.
Just began my journey to accumulate silver and gold, appreciate the advice.
I started buying silverplated items to strip and melt down the metal into bars and now I am starting to stack silver and hope to ACCUMULATE even more after subscribing to your channel.
I just started accumulating silver a couple months ago. I would love to accumulate a lot more

You are very welcome

Amazing to still have the drive after all these years! Best of luck!
@Miles Doyle short and sweet is the key. Nobody is going to read all that.
Even they should, they're not gonna.
I’m new to silver this show is learning phase one keep the topics coming
Rebecca Lynne Buie has consistently been my top recommendation. She’s widely recognized for her expertise in financial markets and has a strong track record. I highly recommend her.
Out of curiosity, I searched for the advisor you mentioned and easily found her webpage. I reviewed her qualifications, which are quite impressive, so I’ve already scheduled a call with her.
Thank you for your channel. I am enjoying learning how to accumulate the correct silver.
I bought so many rolls of silver eagles in the 90’s that I was having storage problems. I recently sold about a third of them at $10.50 above spot..to a dealer! I turned around and bought other verified silver rounds at $4 over spot and increased my holdings.
HOLY MACKEREL!!! What a smart play. Congratulations

Very nice video, Silver Forever. I’ve been working hard to accumulate a lot of bars for weight; however, I also like slabbed silver. I believe that while an exit strategy is important, a time-horizon and duration of hold should also be considered. An MS70 slabbed ASE will definitely have value to my eventual grandchild that we may not fully comprehend at this time. Great video! 💪🏽👍🏾😎

I hope you're right! Thanks WB!
Exactly. I'm not buying this stuff for myself, its for the kids to inherit so exit strategy what? Hahaha
I was really hopeful of my investments this year, but all my plans have been disoriented, I've been studying the market crashes and I realized some investors made millions from the recent 2008 recession and I was wondering if such success rate could be achieved in this present market. and the Federal Reserve taking a more hawkish approach to interest rates and bond purchase tapering, a correction is underway.
I grew to a 7 figure well-diversified portfolio. I only buy quality firms, anticipate to hold them regardless of what happens, pay up but not too much, keep track, sell only when necessary, and be ready to course correct. also ignore the forecasts and market views which are at best entertaining but completely useless. ever grateful to Olivia Maria Lucas my F.A... she is super helpful to a lot of beginners out there.

I am a silver collector. 98% of my coins are graded. Amen!!! You need to hold graded coins for at least 5 to 10 years. Generic bullion is great for diversity..if silver gets past 50$ it will be hard to sell a 10 to 100 oz bar. A few 10 oz and a mixture of 5 oz bars is wiser. ACCUMULATE

I have been using an FA since 2019, and I return at least $21k ROI, and this does not include capital gain.

I’m starting to accumulate silver slowly, thanks for the video and useful information!
New to this . Great info, eager to begin. Began to accumulate coins will now change strategy and invest in 5 oz bars.
Your call!
Thanks for the vid. This knowledge will help me ACCUMULATE my stacks of precious metals.
Stack it high!
Began silver stacking and in 2014 with ASE . Since then, have purchased an array of Canadian Maple Leafs, Krugerrand’s and Britannias. This process of gradual accumulation is to avoid the losses inherent with paper currency, and a buffer from the volatility in the stock market. This video is a good reminder of sensible precious metals purchasing.
