Sovereign coins are not bullion. They have a denomination on them. This makes them coins . You can always get the denomination on the coin and if silver does go up then they will often get the premium plus the spot. Again if they have a value on them then they are money.

I started to accumulate coins in silver since the early 2000s. I had just inherited a fairly large amount (at least by my standards) money. I spread it around, to different investments. I bought a college investment vehicle for my 3 children, I also bought stocks and I started to buy coins and finally left a fairly large portion to pay for my family. The coins were not cheap and I spent quite a bit and bought a lot of different coins like the rare and semi rare coins, mainly because I knew that I wouldn’t always have enough money to buy them further down the line. Everything generally was worth more money than I had initially bought . The the college fund didn’t pay for all of their education (mainly because they wernt to out of state college and my fund didn’t pay for the tuition ,only the most expensive in state public state colleges. But they dwent to some pretty expensive colleges , so we were hit with paying the tuition difference and it was a few thousand dollars more) so that left money for some home additions and a vacation or 2 . But the big surprise was for the coins that had grown considerably more value. My stock investments had gone down the crapper during the 2008-2009 depression and lost over half its value, unlike a lot of people who sold alpl of their stocks and got out of the market. My stock value was cut in half, from 50,000 to 24,000 but I decided to just stay put. My stocks have now gone up considerably and after the splits and take overs my stocks are now worth 25% more and now my family has a considerably higher share and interest from my coins and my stocks. I know that I got a little, (hell a huge off topic but I’m sure that you get my point, constitutional silver has saved and grown my investments.

CdA Native... a safe is where you keep worthless ch!nkw@d and other "valuables", like house and mortgage papers. Insurance papers should be safe with your lawyer cuz they will list ALL of your assets, which will include the cash in your safe and your precious metals. You do NOT want the thief to see a list of your assets. Most thieves will see your ch!nkw@d, grab it, and leave. They will rarely untie you tho. You will have to decide how much ch!nkw@d that you can afford to sacrifice but you will have to think like a thief for a minute or two. It has to be enuf that the thief will decide that it is good enuf and take off but not enuf to damage your net worth. Just know that if you cheap out, the thief may decide that a few hundred bucks is too lame for all the effort and risk that he/she expended getting to your puny pile of ch!nkw@d and may decide to stick around and torture you some more and keep looking because nobody buys a $3000 safe to store $500 in. Doesn't make any sense. Don't be cheap! The longer it goes on for, the greater the chance of weakening and revealing your secret stash of PMs. If it is enuf cash for the thief to take the money and run, your pain ends and your PMs are safe. I would suggest that it should be a minimum of $3000 and up, so $5000 is a pretty good pile, and $10,000 is a really convincing amount. AND, a pile of $10,000 will probably divert the thief's attention from any embarrassing questions about precious metals. Meanwhile, your gold is sitting out in plain site in a dozen hiding spots and your silver is somewhere between the walls or buried in your backyard, REALLY HARD to axxess. NEVER store your prohibitively valuable PMs in a safe. By now, you should have it figured out that the safe and it's contents are a DECOY. Besides, ch!nkw@d can be REPLACED, especially if you have a hidden micro camera in the room where the safe is, recording the entire home invasion event for the insurance company and showing the thief removing all the ch!nkw@d. One other thing... if you have a wife or kids, NEVER EVER tell her/them about your precious metals hiding in plain site all over the place, or they are as good as gone. They will roll over in a heartbeat, especially if the thief is causing any pain, especially to the kids. She must absolutely believe that the only valuables that you own are in that safe. MAKE SURE that the PMs are included in your will, along with a detailed treasure map, so your wife, and/or kids can find everything, in the sad event that you expire early. Also, never store much cash and especially PMs at a bank for the same reason. An ambitious thief will have his/her partner babysit your wife and kids, and will escort you to the bank, to make a giant withdrawal. The wife will ALWAYS blurt out your life savings that is "safely" stored at the bank. Probably best to never disclose the PMs that she didn't know about because "you put us all at risk over some lousy gold & silver that you could have just given to them and sent them on their way?" Easy to say but handing over a million dollars worth of PMs to a thief who didn't know about them until your wife blurted it out, is of NO advantage to you. If the thief honestly believes that $10,000 is all that he is going to get, then he will leave, QUICKLY & HAPPILY. SO, WHY give him your life savings as well? This is why you absolutely cannot tell your wife about your PMs, or you will end up PENNILESS in a home invasion situation. Maybe even DEAD! DON'T tell your wife about the PMs. For starters, they are really hard to replace, and even if your insurance claim is successful, they will only pay you in cash. They will NOT REPLACE your PMs. Your goal is to get the thief to be happy taking the $10,000, having no idea about any PMs, and be gone as quickly as possible, and leave your PMs hiding in plain site, safe & sound.

The Mercury represents freedom of thought, and protection there of. I learned this fact from a dealer.

Everything besides the couple of lower purity coins makes S tier for me. I like it all. If I had to pick some favorites, it would be Peace Dollars, Walking Liberty halves & Mercury dimes.

I am a silver collector. 98% of my coins are graded. Amen!!! You need to hold graded coins for at least 5 to 10 years. Generic bullion is great for diversity..if silver gets past 50$ it will be hard to sell a 10 to 100 oz bar. A few 10 oz and a mixture of 5 oz bars is wiser. ACCUMULATE

Ok, long time coin collector/stacker here with a hedge towards SHTF scenario. I have become less confident in stacking because of all the Chinese copy’s out there, with eBay you can buy actual mint boxes and paperwork to look authentic. If shtf now and prices have gotten so high that more and better fake items around I’m not sure how bartering may work in real life! Now to grading questions I’m thinking that the cost of grading is offset by the increase in value of coin for security reason only? Here’s an example I have 2 sets of identical coins except one is pure silver and the other is …silver plated gold one could simply switch the coins and no one could tell, so getting them graded especially the gold one seems like a good insurance plan?

Been carrying around some generic round with lady liberty and the year 1989 on it for over a year now! I bought some random silver mystery box thing on ebay for 20 bucks and got a silver round and like 5 bucks of junk silver. Never bought one again because I thought I got so lucky 😂. Anyway it’s my lucky pocket piece now. Have a good one man happy stacking!

Metal detecting old parks in small towns, old town side walks, long forgotten swimming holes, schools with chimneys, fair grounds and community centers will yield many silver coins that are just as they were the day they were lost. That along with wheat Pennies, Indian head pennies, large cents pieces, and billions of pull tabs.

Wanted to thank you for this video as it has educated me to consider somethings I did not . I always dabbled in collectible items and was actually introduced to silver stacking a couple years ago and began purchasing on an off. The only place I have purchased from was APMEX.. Curious have you always purchased from PIMBEX and is this due to there support of your channel?

Love your stuff man. But come on we clicked for 1/10th coins, two minutes in until we even see them. 1/10 is king. Sucky premium, but more barter friendly. 1oz you have to save for a year to get one and usually most aren't gonna be able to save that long to get an oz. You will end up finding someway to spend it. But the 1/10thoz, buy it and it's out of the realm of spending unless you go to a lcs or personal buyer. So yea, anyone that watches this video, don't be scared, get that 1/10th. And personally there is higher gold content in other gold coins than the eagle. Cheers.

Great tutorial, I'll be using this to help edumacate my peeps! Doing the math can be difficult, I use the formula Spot/1.4 = Times Face. If a vendor is charging a premium, add that to current spot and divide by 1.4 to get the proper sales price. For instance, today's spot price (June 14 2024) is 29.57, divided by 1.4 is 21.12 times face. I'm seeing deals at .25 premium over spot (for Washington quarters), which comes to 21.30 per dollar face. Premiums have been over $2 or more in the recent past, now is a good time to get in! I've been buying gold and silver every paycheck. I get paid every 2 weeks I buy at least 1 tenth Oz gold every month I have been doing this for a while.I have hundreds and hundreds of ounces of silver and almost 7 ounces of gold. obverse and reverse dont matter ... the uglier the better imo when it comes to junk more wear is less silver so I'm glad the zeitgeist prefers mercs ... makes rosies cheaper in comparison I recently weighed all my junk ... mercs and barber quarters had the most wear by far ... many being under the threshold slack in the FV calculations. Rosies and wash quarters were all within tolerance as was suprisingly my walking lib halves. All of my franklin and kennedy halves were also well within tolerance my rankings would be essentially the inverse of yours

Have two of those Germania. Four kilo bars in total. Really nice bars. My favorite next to vintage poured bars like Engelhard. My sweet spot is 10oz bars.

I bought 2 rolls of Half Dollars , 1 Liberty and 1 Franklin. Should I open the rolls and put them in plastic holders, tubes, 2x2s, etc. or just leave them in the Rolls?
