I’m a Romanian-American living in California and love making UA-cam videos that help improve our everyday life.

Q: What cameras do you use?
A: I mostly film with a Canon T6i. Makeup tutorials & vlogs are shot with Sony A5100 and I vlog with Sony and my iPhone 6S Plus.
Q: What do you edit with?
A: Final cut pro x but I prefer to cut in iMovie bc it’s easier.
Q: How old are you?
A: I’m 31. But if I forget to edit this after every birthday, just know I was born in ’84.
Q: How do you know so much about everything?
A: Most of my videos draw from past experiences. I’ve gone through a divorce, a bankruptcy, I immigrated to the US on my own. I’m prone to depression, anxiety and I have ADHD. Being happy takes work for me and I learned different things that work. Looking back to the times I asked “Why?” now I know I was prepping to do THIS.

I love these ideas. I've been struggling with depression since moving away from family. I've been gardening. and DIY'ing some lotions, body wash, lip balm and deodorant. I've just started all of these things but they give me a great feeling. I've started to see some red peppers and tomatoes coming in my garden its so exciting! You make me want to try all your ideas lol.
I hear you my friend, being away can be so hard. I'm totally impressed by the things you're doing though, sounds like you're a DIYing superstar, you should maybe start making UA-cam videos, no doubt people would love it :D
I grew herbs for the first time last year and it was so relaxing and satisfying!! I planted rosemary, basil, catnip, parsley, and fennel, I'm very excited to plant even more this Spring! If you're interested in growing herbs, I recommend buying starter plants, I bought oregano seeds and nothing came up and it was super disappointing lol! But I'll try again with plants this year!!

Weird hobby but I enjoy finding new ways to live a low waste/environmentally friendly lifestyle. Also walking my dog and learning spanish on duolingo :)

I find genealogy to be very empowering. You get to learn about the lives of your ancestors and the challenges they went through. It helps to show us how much we have to be thankful for today.

I have a hobby (music production) but when I sit down I feel tired and yawn every 30 seconds. But when ever I go outside taking a walk or doing anything else my fatigue is gone! Thanks for the ideas, they help me to spend more time outside.
I am in a meditation group I do yoga I do vision boards I do diy from pintrest walk my dog hang out with friends going out to eat going for coffee walk my dog 🐶 clean lol 😂 organize read shopping voulnteer I volunteered at the va before I vpunlteered all over the town I live in I paint my. Nails and give myself homemade facials I go to church and try to get involved I like going to events and seeing bands live I have a lot of friends who are musicians :)

Building a "library" of hobby books is an extremely soothing hobby - go to used book stores and get all the picture books telling you what to do. costs just cents for a book and whenever the depression hits, you go to your shelf and pick out a book to maybe get into something new.
During the pandemic me and my husband decided to remodel our home completely. This was a very big project. I had to pickup almost everything and design. I wanted Farmhouse modern so I watched lots of videos and shopped. We were both all in. My house turned out perfect. I really enjoyed learning design. We have a garden but my husband does this mainly. But I think I will start doing more with the garden. I purchased an instant pot and have learned how to cook some of the most amazing dishes with it. I started do 1000 piece puzzles I actually got a puzzle board so I can move it to any room in the house. Fishing is a favorite but more of a sport. I walk 10000 steps a day. I do want to learn photograpy.

In 2020 we all need a new hobby! I am trying to learn : a new language, to play an instrument, modern calligraphy, painting and im also practicing some hobbies I already had like reading, scrapbooking, and dancing.
I didn’t think learning a new language would be fun, but I tried it and I’m doing well in Japanese and now I wanna go to Tokyo ;-;

There are mostly good days now when it comes to managing the depression, but the bad days creep in as well, and having ADHD enhances those feelings, making it more difficult. Thankfully I keep pushing forward and hopefully I get to inspire one or two people along the way to do the same, cuz it ain't always easy. after watching youtube, my hobby, I often feel like I should develop another hobby but i see from what u suggest i have many hobbies already. Let me know if u would like to be pen pals....mainly to share lives...I don't do pocket letters etc, I am also impressed that u do all this in spite of depression....i have anxiety disorders so I can appreciate the struggle . I have experience depression before. Its so hard to get started in the morning... anyway, I do have one friend who enjoys trying new things ...everyone else wants to just stay near too home they are fine with that but I do like to get out a bit. btw, your paintings? are they acrylic? did u do anything to prepare for the painting ie gesso.... oh, and i would like to have a window sill herb garden so i think the garden.org is a good resource!!!! thanks!!!

I make stickers with a silhouette machine for my planner and decorate it with them, I make bath bombs, cook, organize my storage spaces, and teach my dog tricks, and weight train. I am getting bored with them though and need to get motivated again. I need to start back with duolingo too.

The #1 thing I've seen in moms who stay organized is the ability to make room for 15-30 minutes a day that's just for themselves, to relax, be quiet, or do something that they love and makes them happy - that helps them to stay motivated and organized. Second is having a shared Google calendar. A calendar of events that shows the agenda for every child, and that's shared with the parents, the spouse, etc - so at all times, everybody can see what's going on on a specific day. A) When doing that you'll know at all times what's going on so you'll be more organized (access via app or desktop) and B) should you ever need somebody to pick up the slack, the process will be real smooth and non-dramatic. Also, pre-planning what to cook for the week on Sundays helps, so there's no scrambling day of - helps take some of the stress off too. Those are some of the things I've seen work, hope it helps.
