Blackmagic Shuttle HD Functionality

How to use the Hyperdeck Shuttle HD and my thoughts on the good & bad aspects.
I forgot to go over the Teleprompter feature because I have no use for it, but it is a nice feature to have.

Hello Peter, is there possible to make a macro with the atem software control to make a slowmotion replay of a defined duration (the last 5 or 10 seconds) from last recorded clip? thank you

I do not believe that is possible. The Atem software doesn't enable video playback (of any kind that I can see), and the macros wouldn't be able to record the button functionality of the Shuttle HD.

Settings in Atem software control allows you to setup a connection from the switcher to a hyperdeck. In palette hyperdeck the device will show up and you see a list of clips on the timeline. You have playback controls and with the slider you can scroll through the clip. I believe you can create macros for this palette but do not expect that to work for the slider.

so, i can use a panasonic to replay sports right? is it plug and play?

My camera I used is a Panasonic CX350. It worked fine. The unit itself should be plug and play with any device that is connected to it via HDMI
