Beautiful kitchen items you bought and they r still strong. You save a lot buying from charity shops, ikea, and when there r sales in shops. This is all to ensure the currency stretches and be ale to save. This is what we also do in the UK, you find yoursel buying for here and Mzantsi then ship the items bought for SA. A friend of mine bought a lot of dinnersets for herself and 2 adult daughters in charity shops and shipped them with other things to South Africa. Sibonga uBhuti Sipho evumile ukuku khapha, remain blessed 🙏🙏⚘️🌷💖🍁❤️🇿🇦🇿🇦
The only way it really works is when several families live in one household or expenses are shared. Also the only way it works is when the currency in the other country has a lesser value than the dollar. Rent, utilities, taxes, increase on a yearly basis and if your income doesn’t increase that also changes your ability. OR you send the money anyway and get behind on your bills. But, I’m going to challenge myself and see how much I can safe. I’m a foundational black American so I have no one over seas to send money too, but no harm in trying to save…Maybe I can plan a trip to SA 😊
That’s right. Let’s challenge ourselves and change the narrative. You are correct about the currency point. I never thought I will be happy when the South African rand is not doing good because the exchange rate is better when one sends money from USA to SA. Thank you. 🙏🏾❤️
