Enjoy your time in the US Sister Velile. Your Channel helped broaden my scope and see that one can live an opulent lifestyle in rural South Africa without breaking the bank. I’m grateful 🙏
I miss the fresh food in SA. The food in Africa is fresh. When I went to Woolworth in SA, the fresh fruits and vegetables blew my mind. You tell no lie.
I always knew in my heart, you going places,as South Africans we are very proud of you,Sis Velile, keep shining. I personally would like to see you, running online mentorship programs for people who are seriously considering investing in property market as a whole. I do feel like there's a lot of unexplored territories within this industry. I for one would sign up and select a package suitable for my pocket.
Velile, I know exactly your concerns on eating proper food. That's one of the reasons I want to move to S.A. It's very hard to eat proper in the States which it shouldn't be like that. Please read the labels and yes it's a science project. I go through it myself. If you don't drink regular milk there's a brand named Elmhurst which is just almonds and filtered water. The others have gum in them "not good for you." Blessings
I have seen people my age talking about they have heart blood pressure and diabetes and looking like they very old because of the food they eat. I can’t be that. 😂😂🙏🏾❤️
I'm so happy to have come across your channel Velile.First time,to've come across someone from kwaZulu Natal.Im from eThekwini. You speak the truth. I grew up, spending a lot of my time with my extended family at kwaDukuza.I grew up eating food ,grown from home.I miss South Africa and my grandmother and village life a lot. I'm so proud of you.
It looks like it's very cold 🥶 there. ❤ Proud 👏 of you. We are learning so much with the difference in way of life , especially cost of living. One gets to appreciate South Africa 🇿🇦. The price of bananas 🍌 blew me away in the last video. Keep warm sis ❤
With regard to your tours, I hope you will be collaborating with KZN Tourism, and crisscrossing the whole of KZN to places like Valley of the Thousand Hills, Drakensberg Mountains, Isimangaliso Wetlands, King Shaka Memorial at Kwadukuza, one of KZN cultural villages and famous battlefields.
Forgot our game parks, Hluhluwe being our flagship game park. I believe all provinces including KZN are less marketed than Western Cape. Without any doubt, the Western Cape is beautiful, but other provinces like KZN have their own unique beauty and culture which you can never find in the Western Cape. Some tourists are less interested in highly westernized places like the Western Cape, and are looking for an authentic African experience, that you can never find in the Western Cape. It is time for KZN and other rural provinces to showcase their uniqueness.
Very glad to hear that.😊😊 I am happy to be just a cheerleader at this point. I traveled every corner of KZN (my home province) for the whole year, after taking a sabbatical in 2013. At that time, I knew Gauteng better than KZN, after working there for 14 years from my youth days. Now, I appreciate and love KZN more than ever, after my travels.
you did it again sis Vee!! Good thing I had to watch it today on a chilled Sunday down here Pmb..really enjoy it ...i like this style and your editing is on another level ... Thank you guys for sharing your jounery with us, we appropriate!
Hi Sis Velile yes it’s very cold. I’m in New Jersey and we had a snow yesterday. Please let me know more about business opportunities in SA . I will be going home in April for three months .
I miss South Africa too. When the mood hits I suggest visiting one of the many Nando’s in our city. Have you visited any of them? Giant for organic? Ummm. No. Whole Foods and maybe Trader Joe’s is as good as it gets. None compare to Food Lovers and other SA spots. Those who wonder about your desire for outstanding foods have never been to South Africa. It’s the only place where I find consistently amazing healthy foods.
Food is expensive in the U.S even by the U.S. standards. We locals have been noticing the cost of living going up every year. That's one of the reasons why a lot of people/Americans are leaving the country.
Thank you so much ma for taking us to the US with you. Now I can conclude that South Africans we are living a soft life, we just don't realise it. I mean 1 pepper for $1.99 that's equivalent to R35.82 😭😭
@@rorirory121True, but those who relocate to South Africa at retirement stage, have it really nice in South Africa, because they get their social security payouts in dollars but spent them in rands.
It’s expensive in many way also because of the value of our rand too. We need to be independent of the trade exchange and have a stronger currency. USA is enjoying spending less in other countries while we spend more. 🙏🏾❤️
I think you shouldn’t stop converting, it’s good to know the value you’re getting for your money vs what you get back home. It’s like shopping at Woolworths but more 😭😭😭
