- Renown as the gaming fishing capital of Tasmania, St Helens is Tassie's answer to the palace that has it all.
Epic wilderness trail including a 14km descent? Check. Trail network with stacked loops and shuttle runs? Check, check.
White sand beaches complete with crystal clear water, lichen-covered rocks and surf beaks? Yep, St Helens hast that too.

With the Bay of Fires descent well and truly bedded in, we sent a crew down to see what St Helens is all about.

Love all of your Flow destination videos - they are SO professionally made but delivered in a fun and quirky way - especially enjoy watching Christa - you’re a legend, so genuine and passionate (love the Tassie accent!) looking forward to riding all the destinations filmed (want to move the whole fam to the Goldfields region Victoria - epic rides around there too!) Keep making vids - keep up the top work guys and girls!!’🤩👌
That climb up to mach 10 is one of the best climbing trails i think ive ever used. So nice 😍
I have always loved St Helens and now it is even more epic than ever!
Awesome footage the Bay of Fires trail is a super fun day out.
Awesome footage, vibe + edit! Thanks for sharing. :)
Would love to ride this trail one day... some would say its a "sick" ride :)
Haha good stuff guys👍 keep it up great Edit love watching your films.! love this state.🔥
5:10 nice shot
Rode this in Dec last year. Initial descent down off of Blue Tier is exceptional. Definitely an xc trail though for most of it and if you've a penchant for shuttle runs you'll find some if it pretty grindy. Blue Tier trail starts from the same trail head and is the better one if you only had time to do one.
wow what a nice vibe
Thank you Lucas, glad you like it!
If this doesn’t make you want to go to St. Helens nothing will. So keen right now!
How much is climbing out of the 42km ?
When is part 2 coming ????
Still haven't seen a video that represents the 20km climb in the middle of the trail, or even mentions it.
Do tell please?
It is disgusting that this is your job. I'm so jealous
