Why not use it in a sim that way its more real to life then in forza? Like Project cars 2? You dont need to race another car but you sure can learn alot there then in Forza. :) You can race as much as you want on the road and feelling real at the same time.
Was going to buy a G920…literally 2 days later a box arrived at my house. Come to find out my gf overheard me watching your earlier videos and bought me one for my birthday 😂 have been on it nonstop for 3 weeks, don’t see myself stopping anytime soon
@@_REALITY_ have a full sim rig now, with a couple 3D printed mods like an H shifter plate + shifter knob mod running a 6” shifter from my real life drift car 🔥
"What you can not do in the real life" Exactly !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the video what I'm looking for ! That was my main question as for this "vibe" do I need a wheel ? Thank you so much !
I bought a wheel from a "trusted seller" on eBay for $250 + tax and shipping, supposedly brand new. I got it in the mail and opened it. After doing so, I noticed a little damage but didn't think anything of it. I figured it was slightly cosmetically damaged in shipping or something, but I didn't really mind. About a month and a half later, the wheel completely stopped working. Not even the light would turn on. With my mechanical know-how, I opened it up thinking I might be able to fix it. Not only were screws and bolts missing, but the internal wiring was also clearly sodered by someone in an attempt to fix it before I had gotten it. I had tested the wire to see whether it was getting power or not. Surely enough, It wasn't. Even though I knew how to do it myself, I had gotten my electrical engineer friend to fix the wire and test it to make sure it was functioning correctly. So he repaired the wire and confirmed it was functioning now, and I rebuilt the wheel. I plugged everything in, it calibrated itself, and right as I started to play, the wheel died again. Not even my electrical engineer friend can figure out why. At least, not without investing more time in it than it's worth. So, now I'm out $250+, have a broken wheel lying around my house, pointless $180 pedals, a $70 emergency brake, Logitech software that keeps popping up on my desktop, and I can't even find the purchase history to contact the seller. So, that's basically $500 of wasted money. On top of that, I lost my job and am now going to college, and can't afford $250+ for another wheel. The moral of the story is don't buy anything on eBay unless you're willing to throw it in the trash.
never had any problems buying stuff on ebay. your one time situation doesn’t equate to the millions of sales that ebay makes every year. sounds like you just didn’t inspect the item or ask for more photos before buying the item. aka a you problem not ebay problem.
Hey, i have one question - compared to assetto Corsa - FH5 feels like there is a slight delay in steering even with 0 Steering Deadzones, is that normal ? and is it possible to get rid of that ? Ty!
I have had my wheel for a couple years and I love it but now every time I plug it into my xbox and go into a game it makes a weird sound on the audio and my screen glitches a lot. Do you know why this is happening?
Does somebody know why the Thrustmaster 458 spider wheel doesn't work as "proportional" steering in FH5 but it does work in FH4 ? I mean - in FH4 wheels are turning proportionally (smoothly), but in FH5 wheels turns fully left/right, not gradually. thx
Dude i tried using this setup and it never held to the road. Ever, it was frustrating. I was always behind. is it not possible to use one of these to actually be good? I have had everyone and their mom try to help me. It came down to just the game. Any input? I enjoyed streaming this game, as it's super community focused. Yet, it's just annoying sliding everywhere.
It's an arcade game, it's made for controllers wheel is worse in some aspects, If you want something that's enjoyable on the wheel try assetto Corsa with mods
with the right cars and tunes, you can win everything on unbeatable with a wheel. practice, practice, practice. then again, it's a simcade game, not a full on simracer. it will not be quite realistic, but that doesn't mean it's impossible.
Short answer is no, the ffb is numb, no detail from the road, camer or anything else it's just opposite resistance to whatever way your turning, yiu may as well have a spring loaded wheel.
Just bought a G923 2 days ago, and I am mostly playing the F1 games and Project Cars 2 , and Ive also tried it on Grid (2008) , I do want to play Forza Horizon 5 some day... Is it worth playing it with a wheel if I already have one ? You say yes ... but others really say no and that controller is way better on this game ... By the way , Im playing on my desk with a desk chair and the only negative thing about it is that my legs get tired really fast... and even start hurting after a few hours ... would getting a full sim setup with a racing seat make this go away ? or is it just my legs being weak ?
No forza is heavily optimized for controller players which makes no sence at all it should be optimized for the people spending 200+ of a wheel that the game is horribly optimized for horizon is fucking dead bro

I was literally about to ask this haha. You should do a video teaching how to drift with a wheel on fh5
why would i get a racing wheel with no first person view.....

No because forza doesn’t care about people with racing wheels and it sucks
I have had my wheel for a couple years and I love it but now every time I plug it into my xbox and go into a game it makes a weird sound on the audio and my screen glitches a lot. Do you know why this is happening?
What are your pc specs ?

@@chesternimitz8357 doesn't mean that wheel support must suck
Nope. The wheel implementation in FH5 is.. garbage. Even FH4 is better....
