You dont need chilled water just cold. I use the coldest faucet settings add my flavour and then close and shake it a while. That's to help the co2 to bond with water. Industrial machine also move the water while carbonating it.
I just bought a Sodastream Terra a few hours ago, and thought I'd check out a video about it on UA-cam. I came across your video, and really enjoyed it. I paid $60 (£47) for it at the local supermarket, I was a bit surprised they only had one flavor available, their Sodastream cola brand. I'm a Pepsi drinker so was a bit disappointed that they didn't have that, but their brand was on sale for $3 (£2.36), so I thought I'd give it a try. I'll probably buy a gallon of purified water to keep in the refrigerator, just to have the chilled water available, as I only have the one bottle. I'll give it a try this evening. Hoping it tastes something like cola :) Thanks for the tip about using chilled water. Have you tried using fruit juice? I'm curious if you can make a fizzy fruit juice drink with it.
Good review guys. I have asked for one for my birthday as I prefer drinking fizzy water to plain water. Eight litres of the stuff is currently £1.75 in Asda, so I am hoping I would save on this (and also the lugging around of heavy bottles). Black friday deals are the way to go with buying a sodastream as well.
Pro tip: buy a big CO2 tank and a hose adapter for your sodastream and then get the gas refilled at a local brewery or welding gas supply store. The value for the unit of CO2 is much higher.
asda sells a large glass jug with lid for £2 just fill with water then keep in the fridge then fill your soda stream bottles up much cheaper than buying the other bottles
Here is a cheap way to get this done: Do not buy the machine or air cartridges. Just buy the syrup and then run to the grocery store and buy cheap bottled soda water.
Use filtered water. Water here in the UK is full of chlorine and can be very hard water. Most things taste disgusting with UK tap water, smells like a swimming pool in the summer when they add even more chlorine.
They were comparing the taste of the Pepsi Max syrup to bottles of Pepsi Max. You can also buy bottles of regular Pepsi syrup. The difference in flavor comes down to the filtering of the water, not the sweetener since they were comparing like for like.
Read the back of any sodastream package and ask yourself why would they even have to print what they do on the packaging? Imagine living in Israel and not having to worry about random rockets blowing you up or someone putting your child in an oven. Reality is what it is. People like you make me laugh😂😂😂😂😂. How about those pagers! 😂😂😂😂😂
Just bought mine today, excited to use it. Greetings from the USA!
For me the syrups are just added value. I use my mostly for soda in all my cocktails. Adds so much more.

Thanks for your comment 😊 would never work for us with just cold water! Maybe we need to have a fiddle around with it 😂

Ha ha keep chalking them up 😂 sounds like a painful ordeal 😂😂 thanks for watching 😊😊
Had one years ago my kids never liked it but think its a bit pricey nowadays but if its going to get used then probably worth it
Yes I do think it’s expensive but we do love a gadget 😂
I bought this same machine for 79,00 euro, it included 2 1 liter bottles and 1 half liter bottle to take with you.
And ofcourse the co2 cilinder.

Big brain right here
That's the whole benefit of sodastream is you don't have to buy and carry around big bottles of fizzy water, lol.
The benefit is cost. Period.
@@fairamir1 It's not the only benefit actually. I literally just told you another one.

I paid 70 Euro for a terra, 1 co2, 2 x 1 ltr and one x 0,5 ltr bottle on Amazon
I love you, beautiful people!
The difference in taste is what it is sweetened with. It’s not sweetened with high fructose syrup or pure cane sugar.

Similar and Nowhere Near are at opposite ends of the spectrum..
That socialist dentistry leaves something to be desired hey?
Imagine watching a sodastream review video and somehow getting political ...
