Question for you! Did the Holosun 507 Comp direct mount to the slide, or did you need an adapter plate? If you needed a plate, can you share where you got it? Thanks so much!
@nickleon4696 I think if you use your support hand like most do on 1911s it will not be a big issue. It's not my favorite slide release, but I would not say it is the worst I have used. I do wish the would have extended it slightly wider and further forward I could say.
I picked up my new P226 XFive Legion yesterday and I was going to adjust the trigger poundage a few minutes ago, but it appears the builder of my pistol forgot to install the set screw. I can't see one, and when I push in slightly with the 2mm Allen key it feels a little springy, and I'm assuming if there was a setscrew it wouldn't move at all. This is a really big letdown and is highly unacceptable.
@@Heteachethmyhandstowar Thanks for the response. I'll look tomorrow, I'm too miffed to look at it again today. The trigger is very nice as is, but I'm guessing it's not good to fire it without that setscrew.
@silverbackgorilla2112 I think the screw is doing nothing at lowest weight so should be safe to fire. But not 100 percent sure myself without looking myself.
@@Heteachethmyhandstowar Thanks, that makes sense. Without the setscrew the trigger should be at the max lowest poundage.The little takedown rod pushes in and out just fine, so no issue there. The trigger feels amazing and I would prefer not to send it in as long as it's not causing trigger damage without the setscrew.
@@Heteachethmyhandstowar Hey brother, my range trip was terrific and the pistol functioned flawlessly. I shot the best group I've ever shot with any handgun, and I've had some $4,000 ones. Freestanding @ 7 yards I put 49 out of 50 shots in a 2"x 2" square bullseye and the miss was only .75" away. I tweaked the pre travel and reset slightly and it's the best trigger I've ever experienced. Stay Safe!!
I thought about this already. I would say if you don't mind the extra weight of this gun, it would be fantastic for duty. It is essentially the same gun the seals carried for years made better. Many police forces carried the p226 as well. The comps should not cause any reliability issues since it is not a true compensator, but still helps with muzzle rise.
Wondering if you have the x5? Do they feel the same? I was looking either get the x5 or the x5 legion. But I am not really ready for shooting in open class.
I have shot both. The X5 is a little heavier. This one has a little less muzzle flip. I would say the regular x5 would be better for uspsa. This is not the best open gun, but it's great for idpa co division .

Hmm, I might would say the MPA by a slight margin. It's more different than flatter or faster but maybe slightly flatter and faster..

Yes that is unacceptable. Take slide off and see if you can see tlwhats happening
