- Barranquilla is Colombia’s fourth largest city with a population of about 1.2 million people. The city is known for its enormous Carnival, which brings together flamboyantly costumed performers, elaborate floats and cumbia music. Barranquilla Colombia is also know for their gastronomy specifically their international fine dinning restaurants as well as their traditional Colombian Pork Belly, So lets eat.....

I am so sorry to correct you, but I have to. Bollo is actually not made of Yuca (Cassava) as you said in the video. Bollo is actually made from white corn, which is soaked, grinded, seasoned with a little of salt and butter, then it is cooked in boiling water.
You’re right, but if you look online it can be made with both.
You are both correct but the cornmeal bollo is easily identified by it's white color. They bollo de yuca is more of a yellowish color.

Actually it’s both, traditional Colombian bun (bollo) can be made with corn, yuca, or potatoes.
What you were grabbing at 14:09 is white corn bollo. By the way, there is only one bollo which is not made with corn: bollo de yuca. And there are no potato bollos (the reason is very simple).@@thetravelingkat1647
