REN isn’t pointing fingers at the right or left he’s saying that’s what everyone else does but point the mirror at ourselves. We all created the money game and are participating in it. At least that’s my interpretation. I think it’s cool that his video is on a tv feeding us information the same way media feeds us. Basically he’s part of the game too.

I think Ren is always careful not to press his own political leanings in his music. I mean yes, he gives us very strong opinions on things, but he does it in a way to encourage discussion. He's vocal about the system, but, as you said yourself, it can't all be blamed on the left OR the right. The few posts I've seen on his community pages lean more towards ways to enrich communities rather than apportioning blame.
    Part 3 is eagerly anticipated!

It might help to watch some interviews with Ren
Zack Sang is a good one to hear where he is coming from on politics
He's very intelligent and well read and has considered this area of life a lot
His struggle with health issues and the medical industry have given him time to research
He knows it can be a matter of life and death
He ran a blog for other people with his struggles many of whom didn't make it out alive from their illnesses
He is a bit of an entrepreneur on the quiet partly to afford treatments
When not well enough he made music in exchange for donations to go fund me to afford treatments to get well again

I totally dig your intro on this one, and overall reaction as well. Again, looks like others have basically said what I was going to, but I think on this one you sorta grasped a little more of the "big picture problem" this series seems to focus on and Ren is a genius in laying it out the underlying issue with global societies. I feel like Ren is giving us the mile high view, then the thousand foot view, and inevitably the single foot view as you will/have seen :)
I'm wondering if you have looked into rens backstory more besides just comments? Maybe this has already been mentioned on other comments, but Ren released an album late last year in the UK which debuted at #1 as an indy artist with no label or anything, beating out some big names as well...the album is called Sick Boi and it is quite frankly, a pretty f'n sick album (as in I LOVE every song on it!!!)...anyways, before the album dropped, was this super big leadup for MG 3 to be released as a video and Ren teased how he had something special in plan for MG3 release.
Soo, I guess late summer or so of last year Ren started a freaking real world treasure hunt, where social media people would join forces and work together to solve Ren's challenges to find the treasure at the end...I'm telling you, what he was able to put together is absolutely astonishing for this hunt...and it was amazing watching updates during the hunt of people deciphering his clues within a day or so...but the main, coolest thing, was Ren's message at the end of it...Ren has a video that summarizes what happened but it is like 1-2 hours long I think, so could be something if you have time to watch on your own and see what a genius this man is. I'll give one example of the hunt that I know is still out there, go watch his Hi Ren video with CC on, and watch for captions that make absolutely no sense being there (I think it is around the part where he tells his bad side how he doesn't chase number and statistics and stuff)..google what you see in CC and go to the first link returned and you will see a news article, and then look at the EF'N first comment on that video and it is from friggin REN!!! It boggles my mind how he put so much together somehow to make his treasure hunt that at least tens of thousands of people worked together to solve each day for seven days leading up to the release of MG 3 video.
Keep it up man, can't wait til tomorrow :) and sorry for all my longass comments (oh, and if you aren't aware yet, he's in a bit of a legal battle with his song Sick Boi so maybe bump that one to top of list if you can find it, may have to check alternate sources like rumble or something, but lots of peeps are trying to spread awareness or whatnot of his latest battle, and I just remembered about it lol)
    #FreeSickBoi #SaveSickBoi

Ren talks about this a bit... mostly that he is aware the "game" of money is necessary. He went so far as to point out his hypocrisy of MG3 doing so well and his desire and thrill of getting a #1 album (Sick Boi). My interpretation for hearing him speak is he is about equal opportunity, not equal outcome. He works his butt off for his success and he isn't afraid to enjoy it.

What I found interesting about this song is the seashell reference. I thought at first that it was an allegory for how the diamond industry started, but it is not an allegory at all. It is a real life happening. Some dude was collecting and hoarding seashells to bring the prices up. Years later, his sons went into the oil business and named their company after what their father did. That is how we got Shell Oil company. Man, I love when these little things turn into big rabbit holes. So much fucking fun.

One other thing for future songs of his, especially when he goes into his favorite style (rap), be prepared to pause it so you can for sure get his lyrics (usually he has the lyrics in the top of his posts, maybe a pinned comment or just in description he puts the lyrics, but you can prolly find them elsewhere, but YT's auto CC is garbage for his songs almost always)...so whenever you get to things like I suggested...Or others, don't matter to me, its just that I've seen already times where I thought it would be could if you had paused to (ya gotta give me this one!!!) PERCOLATE on what you just heard, tell us your percolating thoughts, then just hit the left arrow on your keyboard to go back 10 secs and continue. If you have a hesitation with the pausing thing cause you don't wanna interrupt the flow or whatnot, don't worry about that, especially if you do a little bit of a rewind before getting back into it.
Sorry for another long one, just a thought that popped into my mind a bit ago...stay safe man, it sucks hearing the situation in your area, and in Florida at that, geezzz.

The only control we have is over our own actions, we either choose to participate or not 😊 I think these videos are meant for us to look at ourselves and examine how we are moving through this world and try to do better and to etop blaming everyone else 😊😊 just a thought ❤

LOL I loved the Law and Order thing at the start :) A piece of information for your thoughts: Shell Oil Company started in the mid 1800's as a company that sold shells and other misc. items...
In the U.K recently the government that was a focus in this MV was voted out by a massive landslide by the people. We have yet to see if the other party is any better...

Love the intro and how you are falling right into the reactor thing!❤ When I was young, we protested "big brother gov't. It astounds me to no end that today's youth (not all) seem to have complete trust in the gov't and what it can do for them.

    P. S. I had my suspicions, but the Simpson reference verified it. We gotta be very close to the same age. Yes I know Simpsons has 34 seasons but it takes a true mid 80s kid to use it in an intro!!!!!!

I've only been following you for a little while now, and enjoy your content, but I don' know how you are yet about comments, or if you even read them, if I disagree or push back on something, it's coming from a place of wanting to start an open dialog, I'm always polite (unless someone is being hateful/racist/kicking down on someone) and always listen as much as I ramble, and lasty it's definitely not to win an argument, or prove someone wrong, I've been schooled plenty of times, and been grateful for someone educating me, with that said.....
I'm sure you were referring to the supposed left when you said you didn't want to turn everything over to the govt., so the reason I said supposed is because most people in this country think the Dems are "left", they are not, in any other country on the planet, the Dems are slightly right of center. But even then, they're not pushing for everything to be turned over to the govt. And there seems to be this notion that the farther left you go, the more control is given to the state(country's govt.), which just isn't the case. History hasn't proven that either, the political spectrum goes left/right, but also goes up and down, with all the way up being total authoritarianism and all the way down being anarchism. If you take any point on the horizontal line, no matter how far left or right, or close to center it is, all the way up, your going to end up with some sort of oligarchy or dictatorship where the power is in the hands of the very few, even if it's disguised as being in the hands of the govt., who cares, if the dictator controls the govt. All I'm saying is that the GOP not only wants to, but already has taken far more freedoms from us, than a true leftist party would ever dream of.
Personally I'm an AnSoc, (anarchist socialist), I bet you'd freak out how many things we agree on socioeconomically. The right wing talks a big game about smaller govt., which is BS, they only want less govt. when it comes to their business interests, worker's safety cuts into their profit margin, they'd love to ditch OSHA, what do ya mean I can't let a 13y/o documented immigrant work in my dangerous chemical factory?? Catch my drift? But boy oh boy, first time they see someone doing something they don't like or goes against whatever mystical power they believe in, the first thing they do is call big daddy govt. to pass laws so they can't do those sinful things. Over on my part of the political spectrum, we put our energy into building our communities up to be stronger and more cohesive, and less and less dependent on big daddy govt., as much as we can, we say, no thanks Uncle Sam, we can handle it. IMO a federal govt. should only exist for the military, capitol crimes and social safety nets like healthcare, social security, etc...
I don't want to ramble more than I already have on my first comment, I'll leave you with this.... I've seen you mention our freedom we have here many times in different videos, just an FYI, last year we fell to 61st on the International Human Freedom Index. That means countries like Taiwan, Chile, Costa Rica, Slovakia, Latvia, Belize and 54 other countries have more freedom than the U.S., just saying. But hey, I truly did enjoy the reaction!!

I wonder if you will discover more of what the song had to say if you ever listen to it again? It seemed to me you wanted the song to fit with your ideals and did not really listen to what the song was about.
You were quick to stop the video just before the end here. Note for some future Ren videos, you may miss hidden easter eggs.
