@@MrEscape314 Yup, same video; different audio. It all comes from the same shoot. It's always the black and green "beam me up" shirt. I'm not knocking him for it. It's a great way to make it easier to put out videos more easily and often, and he's turned the thing into a whole "watching the news be like..." series.

What you're thinking of is most likely radio-podcasts: people sitting in a room (or in a videoconference) with a mic and a camera filming them. Podcasts without a camera basically stole the term to mean something else.

I think the most hilarious thing is that this is probably the first time I've ever seen an advertisement for a youtube sponsor and actually turned around and started looking for how I get signed up and use it. I think it's the combination of it actually being interesting when Zach does a sponsor, like it's usually still funny and I don't immediately skip them, and it actually being something useful.

I feel like that ground news is a tough business model. I honestly think most people don't want to hear anything that could conflict with what they think is right.
I tried out the Ground News app in November, which had an overall definitive slant to the left. IE: they would claim a left-leaning publican was "center" or "slightly right." When trying to set the slant manually, they said you could only do this if you paid. Is this still the case today?

I mean the bible actively condones Slavery and Genocide, and religious people believe it to be the absolute moral word of God, so why arent Christians all thrown out for hate speech? To be fair, it kinda makes sense. There is a difference between Harassment and shitty hateful opinions.
Harassment is actively targeting that hatred towards someone and not leaving them alone. Its more than just BELIEVING something bad, its actively going out and attacking others with those beliefs. Going on campus and shouting how you hate some group of people and wish for their genocide, that is harassment. Targeting your words towards some group you want genocide? that is harassment.
However, just HOLDING those views, and even talking about them in an unrelated context is not harassment. Fucked up? absolutely. harassment? no. Someone posting on twitter that they agree with genocide or whatever is not harassment. It is absolutely 100% fucked up, but its not harassment. They arent targeting anyone specifically, and its in a context removed from the school entirely. They are allowed to be a racist bigot or whatever, they just cant act on it and attack others.
Thats why the context matters. I dont think someone should lose their job or school or career just because they're a racist asshole. If they arent actually attacking or harassing others then they have the right to have dogshit opinions.
Now, I dont know the bigger context of this situation with harvard, But im assuming thats the point being made. Its not that they are "agreeing" with genocide or whatever. They are instead saying that not EVERY case of someone believing in genocide or calling for genocide is specifically harassment. Is it hate speech? yes. Is it fucked up? yes. Is it harassment? Depends on the context and forum. Thats the point. Should someone get kicked out of school, especially after they've paid tens of thousands of dollars to be there, simply because they hold shitty beliefs? I dont think so personally.
