Ofc he can become a force ghost he is literally the embodiment of the force he was created by the force
Yeah
True
He's not the embodiment of the Force.
False. As the replier above me wrote, he is not the embodiment of the force.
He just had extreme force potential and it probably contributed to becoming a force ghost
@YOUSCA112 first of all, fuck no he was made by Sidious and Plageuis fucking around with the force and the force retaliated with Anakin, giving him extreme force potential but second of all he is still a human and not the embodiment of the force like how the Mortis gods are
The younglings seeing him show up in the afterlife: *shit.*
#underrated
So true 😂😂😂
@@The_Pure_Vessel397 agreed
Hello there,@@William-Afton_HenryxAfton_1987
🤣🤣
Obi wans forgiveness was everything to Anakin.
Obi Wan never forgave him. Anakin was dead to him even before the Duel on Mustafar
@@rooknadoThat makes zero sense. Anakin returned to the Light so he came back from the dead that’s why he forgave him.
@@rooknadoobi wan actually only let go of anakin while they were dueling on mustafar
@@rooknadostop yapping
Actually no obi wan said in obi wan series then my friend is truly dead
Honestly this was the force’s way of saying he truly redeemed himself in the end. I smiled when I first saw this as a kid.
He killed millions and kids
Can't redeem himself no matter what he does for the innocent lives he murdered
@@sasukewithamoustache2300Redemption is not forgiveness. He will never and should never be forgiven. However Redemption is just the act of genuinely wanting to right your wrongs. Technically anyone can be redeemed. However deserving it is another question.
@@sasukewithamoustache2300like the commenter said above your views don’t matter because that is now what redemption is it’s not forgiveness it is wanting to change the bad caused by yourself so you might never be forgive but you can redeem the horrid evil
@@mdffhjyounglings: *side eyeing* 👀
Anakin Was Like "FUCK THIS SHIT I NEED TO FIX ALL OF THIS.".
this comment had me dying laughing😭😭😭😭
🤣🤣🤣😂🤣😂😂🤣😅🤣
Shut up mate this is the corniest shit I've ever seen
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣💀🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😭🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
MISINPUT HOLD ON
While I think the explanation "Anakin was a literal child of the force, therefore he can become a force ghost by default" is sufficient, I do think it is beautiful to imagine he had an interaction with Obi Wan like this after dying. It gives a strong sense of resolve in their arc as friends
That's the power of writings. They could get away with saying since Anakin was a child of the force he could be a force ghost without learning how to do it, but they went extra mile to give it depth and make it a powerful story
Justice for younglings though
I dont think so, I mean he would've rejoined the force either way, don't think the force cares whether he retained his consciousness or not, I feel like Obi-Wan came in clutch this time.
Its so beautiful that Obiwan went to him to comfort Anakins guilt😢
Youngling's souls after seeing him:
Ah shit, here we go again...
Shut up mate you're so unfunny
The fact that Anakin's will to do good was so overwhelming even after everything he had done as Darth Vader, the force still redeemed him, he returned to his old self just like when he was a kid on tattooine and risked his life for a bunch of people who needed his help
We need a movie of this
I agree!
Disney is gonna fuck it up for sure.
Yep
This would be a really good episode for 'Tales of the Jedi'
@@KyriakosXarhoulakos
Totally agree however I hope Disney doesn’t even think about touching this
How he retained his youth is the confusing part but I guess you can sum it to that's when Anakin Skywalker died
Just pretend he's 40 instead of 20, but not 70
No, Anakin died with his helmet off, scarred and pale. He was no longer Vader while talking to Luke during his last moments. He was Anakin in an imperial life-support suit.
I love Hayden Christensen's Anakin, but the original version where he appeared as an old man beside Obi Wan makes way more sense when you realize that.
@@Sergio-nb4hjthe old man version was like 60, vader was 40 when he died. I assume the force allowed him to take the form he was most comfortable with. So he imagined himself before his fall
The younglings are still terrified
What about the Clone Troopers they were younger 😔
LOL FRRR
Master kenobi, why is he here 😟
He is remorseful for killing them. I’m sure Ani wishes he could take back what he did that night. Everything that happened.
@@edgeofreality1883 That true but it was by the will of the force it had to happen
you can always have more Jedi uprising then you will have Sith uprising like the father said too much dark or light would be the undoing of life
light side would have won but there would be no balance
Destroying the Jedi temple will be destroying the light but there is still little light
Which is why when Luke was going to die in ROTJ Darth Vader/Anakin saved him killing the Emperor basically meaning the dark side was taking over and the light side was dying so the force basically said to Anakin the time has come to kill Palpatine
Anakin’s final lesson from obi wan (the high ground) 😂
Really hope obi wan and anakin met as force ghosts. Like in the force ghost flesh
You see them do it at the end of the original trilogy
I would love to see Anikin's ghost help Luke complete his training and rebuild the Jedi order.
I have always found this a wholesome ending to Anakin’s story.
Stuff like this with the force is cool, I want to see a more spiritual kind of thing with the wills or something movie or series.
It doesn’t have to connect to anything it’ll just be a cool adventure
Totally agree!
I wanna see a Jedi of old get a miniseries of him mastering esoteric force abilities, just cause he was ambitiously curious
He also regained his limbs
His Story just makes me sad everytime
The younglings and Mace Windu: 💀💀💀
All the Jedis at the temple
They got what they deserved 😂
They don't became a force ghost lol
The plot of star wars: no matter how many kids you decapitate and pregnant women you choke, in the end you’ll go to jedi heaven.
reminds me of Christianity: theoretically, you could do all sorts of messed up ish, but as long as you're "sowwy" uwu, (the sinner's prayer) then you can be forgiven and suffer virtually no penalty in the afterlife
Sadly he never got his youngling slayer 3000 back.
Hope he gets revenge by haunting rey for burying his saber and calling herself a skywalker when she isnt worthy of it. She hasnt even lost a limb
His dad is literally the Force
Here's the thing: he IS the force. Literally. Also, this is yet another reason the Jedi should allow attachments
Padme filing a restraining order against a force ghost is wild
He's the chosen one.
Glad you don't have to go to the Force Ghost school planet to do this anymore - always felt like some overcooked lore that was better left mysterious.
That's why he's the Chosen one.
I kinda figured that he thought it was the most dramatic thing he could do at the time.
Ol’ Ben Kenob taught him 1 last trick
There's also the fact that he's a half breed.. half human and half THE FORCE 🤣
Yes he was trained, but the reason he was able to become a force ghost was because he is the chosen one, he was one with the force and he DID bring balance to the universe, it had less to do with him feeling guilty and more to do with him becoming one with the force through his destiny as the chosen one.
How was there balance? there is 1 Jedi and 0 Sith after Anakin's death
@@corwintipper7317 the Jedi council in itself had become too powerful and as a whole, they were not as good as they claimed to be, he brought balance to the universe when he betrayed the order with palpatine forcing the universe into chaos and then once again he brought balance as he struggled with his battle between good and evil when he plunged sidious down the reactor shaft as Vader to save luke.
Anakin and darth Vaders true story is in the fact that he was the chosen one according to qui gon and through all of the actions throughout his life, his one purpose was to portray the will of the force itself.
THAT is why he became a force ghost, is because he had truly become one with the force.
Also the episode in the clone wars where he ends up on that planet talking to the embodiment of the force, he came to realize that they were one in the same yet two separate entities.
Star Wars is some deep shit man, you can’t just focus on what they show you and take it at face value, you have to read into what they’re saying and what they’re doing. It’s truly magnificent the way it’s all come together if you sit and look into it deeper. Everything makes more sense little by little and you’ll make connections that you didn’t realize were ever there.
Simple answer: His dad was literally the force, bro was the chosen one
the younglings when they seen anakin in the afterlife: ahh shit here we go again
- Anakin, where did you learn how to see younger as a force ghost?
- not from a Jedi
he is literally force jesus ???
The real answer is that George Lucas didn't really think about it before having him appear as a ghost at his own funeral. What's described here would take a while, but Anakin appeared in a matter of hours.
Time works differently in the spirit world I believe
@@ccscheller8193 You're thinking of the Quantum Realm. 😺😺😺
@@HariSeldon913 is that in starwars universe lore? I've seen vader in his fortress going through a spiritual portal. What do you know of the quantum realm?
This makes more sense with George’s explanation that Anakin and Vader were two different people and that Anakin died the moment he betrayed Mace and was given the name Vader. All Anakin did was betray Mace, Vader was the one who killed Padme the younglings etc. Hence Anakin being able to become a force ghost by correcting his past mistake and fulfilling the prophecy. It also ties back into the good inside Vader being the small piece of Anakin that remained and Luke’s words about Anakin being his father not Vader, this cyborg in a suit was not who his father was
This would have actually been an interesting idea for the sequels to explore by having Vader appear before Kylo as a separate force entity from Anakin constantly trying to corrupt him during his training with Luke
Because.....
SCIENCE!!
He was supposed to take the place of the Father so of course the force would allow him to commune with others after death
Thou I think this is the correct theory, here is my personal theory before today. When Yoda left to speak with Qui-gon in the Clone Wars, Yoda revealed he knew about Anakin's experience on Mortis, and slightly revealed what his trip he needed to do. After the trip, my theory was that Anakin visited Yoda to ask about the meaning behind his Mortis Trip, and Yoda's trip. There, I believe Yoda taught him what Yoda learned, and we know Anakin has asked Yoda for help in meditation when he has issues, as seen in ROTS, so there's a chance that exchange wasn't the first time, and that is part of multiple sessions where Anakin learns the path to immortality.
A lot of people forget at the end of three, Yoda tells Obi wan that Qui gon was able to achieve immortal and that he can learn to summon him
One of the most important character in Star Wars..
I always thought that Anakin became a force ghost just beacause he is the chosen one
I don’t think this explanation is satisfactory but I also don’t think it’s needed. Anakin was quite literally of the force. If there was ever going to be an exception to the rule that someone needed training to retain their consciousness after death then it’d be the chosen one.
He came from the force he just had to let him self go
Anakin: Im a ghost now, does this mean if I hadnt offed palps I could've haunted him?
Obi: Uh, yes?
Anakin: God damn it
LOL
I think this is something we should all try to have happen as a movie or soemthing to show him trying to escape the darkside, and want to as far from it as possible and even be willing to do whatever it takes to make up for what he's done.
Beautiful 360 character development wow!
"Don't feel bad Anakin, we all make mistakes."
-Kenobi
😂
And he was the chosen one
The Jedi didn’t actually receive training for it. The practice had been long forgotten until Qui-Gon Jinn learnt it and passed it on to Yoda and Obi-Wan. They were they only people to know of it until Obi Wan told Anakin, Luke etc
The younglings: What the actual shi-
Good video
You'd think the literal force messiah would call force ghost 'factory default setting'
Obi-Wan and yoda ❌
Obi-Wan Ken-noba✅✅✅
Anakin's transformation from living being to Force ghost at the end of E6 should be told in some form of media like animation with voice clips of the people he meet and knew greatly in his former life. I see it working wonders in animation why not it's that good. And his will to redeem himself after all the bad he has done as Vader is true to his better self.
I don’t think there’s any coming back from the things he did. That would be like saying there’s redemption for Hitler.
Wow you really reported my comment lol guess you can’t handle the truth
@@ReaperKingOTno, youtube likely automatically shadow deleted it.
Anyone can be redeemed even Hitler. This comment really just says you don't know anything about human nature.
@@pandemonium1246 I wouldn’t say all that but I’d say I don’t give a flying f$&k about your opinion. Keep it moving.
@@ReaperKingOT I didn’t report anything and this is my first time checking responses to my comment but you can think whatever you want. I really could give a F&@K less.
One great moment was seeing him again in ROTJ
Younglings in afterlife: you guys forgive that psycho path.
If you look very closely in RotJ, when Luke takes his mask off, you can see in the helmet’s reflection that in his cape is a copy of Force Ghosting for Dummy’s.
Because he's the chosen one. That's why.
And then Obi Wan looked at young Anakin’s Force Ghost and said, “you special edition MFer…..” 😂
"FORCE GHOST" supposedly the next level of FORCE MASTERY, and the next level AFTER PADAWAN, MASTER, FORCE GHOST FORCE
Tldr- he's the chosen one
Anakin after seeing the jedi younglings in the afterlife: this is where the fun begins 🤤
In conclusion: he became a force ghost because he's force Jesus
LOL-ANAKIN
Like to believe if windu died he’d have a ghost too being second only to yoda, he’s still out there some where boys 🥺
I told him how. That's how he learned. Question answered.
Anakin: OMG I need to rewrite my wrongs.
Obi-Wan: Anakin, you're dead.
Anakin: No, I'm not.
Had he not turned against the Jedi he would’ve lived
Sooo. How do they explain the remake that took the original old actor out, and that younger dude in as the ghost? Why does that make sense????? Wouldn't he still be old?
Cause young anakin was Jedi anakin
He is the chosen one
I don't think there's any redemption for anakin killing the younglings, it's like freddy krueger being redeemed for being a child killer
Redemption and forgiveness are different things. Anakin may not be forgiven, even though he had excuses for what he did,but he redeemed himself. When the Emperor attacked Luke he didn't have to protect him,Anakin chose to protect his son,he killed the emperor and saved countless lives at the expense of his own. That act of ultimate sacrifice done genuinely out of love for his son is his redemption
#1 Using young Anakin and old Obi-Wan minimizes the adult sacrifice Vader made by destroying his master. In the novelization of ROTS, he awakens as the armor is being placed on him. He reaches through the Force and the comforting safe warm place in the Force is no longer there. He is barred due to his actions. He lived in pain and possible regret. Then a spark of something rekindles the light. His son, Padme's son. He does for Luke what young Anakin could not do for Mace or Padme. Sacrifices himself. Young Anakin did not do this. I believe the moment he turned on his master, Sidious, he became a Jedi Master. It was this sacrifice that opened the path for eternal life in the Force.
I understand a Jedi can me than likely choose a residual self image. With Ahsoka going Anakin makes sense. Standing with Obi-Wan and Yoda at the end of ROTJ, they need to change that back to Sebastian Shaw, or digitally combine their images into a new aged force ghost, to match Obi-Wan and Yoda. There. I said it!!
Man os legit him even after death
Somehow... Anakin returned.
So Obi Wan offered to make amends in the afterlife and that's it...
this man would get a mouthful if i was obiwan, i would kill anakin as a ghost
To for the younglings
He just let it go.
The first lesson is the high ground isn't eveything
On this episode of: let’s make shit up
Uhhh it’s not, it’s in one of the graphic novels. I cannot remember which one though.
POV: I dont know this so I am just gonna comment something about someone making stuff up.
This is true
Not made up 😊 In the Canon novel "Return of the Jedi: From A Certain Point of View" as mentioned in the description!
Bro has nothing better to do 😂
Classic ….. honestly I think it would have been more realistic and favorable if he showed up as little kid annakin as a force ghost in the end ..
Basically he did horrible things and got away Scott free.
Nope the opposite... Anakin wanted to right his wrongs so bad that he didn't want to get away easy... he wanted to do his time...
@@TheDeathmail and yet he still got to live in force heaven despite doing things like blowing up an entire planet making his crimes worse than Hitler. But hey, at least he’s not Vegeta. Hitler is responsible for the deaths of millions. Vader is responsible for the deaths of billions. Vegeta… uh… it’s never clearly stated how many planets he’s rolled up to and eradicated all sentient life from, but uh… he’s been doing that since he was a child. Wouldn’t be shocked if his death toll is in the Quadrillions.
And while Vegeta and Vader did suffer in the end they’re having a happy ending. Definitely a lot happier than the people of Alderan or the people from all the various planets Vegeta has wiped out.
@@TheDeathmail he’s definitely having a better time than the younglings, sand people, or alderan. I don’t think they’re in force heaven living the dream.
The thing is it was never anakin, it was his destiny played out for him by the will of the force he never had a choice in what he would ultimately do and become
Do you think he feels free? All the horrible things he has done are haunting him
He is an embodiment of the force. Shmi got knocked up by the midichlorians basically. Yes it may be due to plagueis and sidious but Anakin was fathered by the living force.
However Anakin is a main beloved character and ppl would love to see him as a force ghost
Love the idea- To bad thought that becoming a force ghost got a bit watered down in Rise of Skywalker as Rey communicated with jedi that died without the knowledge or the connection to the force.
Idc what anyone says anakin Skywalker is a beautiful character just needed reassurance from his order since he really had no one..
World between worlds
dont u dare anakin u cant not kill the younglings
one question i have is how to did they make anakin look like hayden christensen in return of the jedi, baffled me since i was a child.
They went back and edited that scene as well as a few others in 2004!
Consciousness after death what are you talking about that is a thing you are eternal?
Any source of that contact between Obi-Wan and Anakin (being in to the force void) and teaching him?
Bro completed his training in the gulag
Isn't that obvious? He's Jesus of the SW.
Anakin didn't become a force ghost , he became a force God !!!
He was created by the force , once he shed his inferior human half .......
He true divinity took over.
I knew Luke Skywalker was right
If you think about it, he did kind of destroy the sith by killing the emperor
why was the force ghost a depiction of how anakin used to look many year prior to his death and not how he looked when he died? can you choose the appearance of your force ghost? would love a yt short about that :)
Did anakin ever have a recorded communication with qui gon after death?
Season 2 of KENOBI should have Obi Wan protect the Lars from Tatooine gangsters and also separately show Hayden as Vader exploring the dark side
